The only reason I invested in this box was to play my Silent Swordsman with Gouki. Feels like a waste but... I dont play to be meta, I play to use my favorite monsters xD

I actually play a Mayakashi deck irl, the link support is kinda meh. I wish Konami introduced Hajun and Gashadokuro in duel links. But Hajun would most likely be a semi or a limited because you can search Dakki with his effect, and since he's a level one, you can start the synchro ladder pretty fast. Off topic, Konami should prolly also add Doomking Balerdroch and Mezuki as a UR and Effect Veiler as an SR. It would also be nice if Ash Blossom was in the game.
You can use curse of Anubis and wind of etaqua if you are f2p.they basically switch you opponent monster to defence and buy you a turn which can be enough as this deck can easily make comebacks
Use see you later skill to return Yuki , send spectral sword in the first turn second turn summon yuki from the grave then send nine tailed fox and synchro to shougen saga
But, to be honest, what do you against crystrons, e - sabers or cydra with this deck, and Ritual beasts of course. Against every single one of these decks mayakashi would lose.
I dunno man, from what I've encountered, removal does trigger their effects, but you don't get any monster removal out of it. And I've seen many people chain summon twice, getting a lv9 and lv5 out, but that means that the lv 7 can't have a replacement. I think that they aren't top tier, but pretty good.
Is star eater really so bad in this deck? You can synchro climb to star eater and use winter to bring back yoko to send a monster when it comes back. You would have to cut sunsaga though. I'll experiment with sunsaga and star eater

You can't use Spektral sword and yoko because you can't synchro summon with these 2 monsters from the grave. Cause' we don't have a zombie Level 11 synchro yet.
I ran into this deck. I got a quieten magican out and they clogged their field and I decked them out. It must be pretty big brain. This guy messed it up royally.
It's difficult. It only triggers when a "Mayakashi" is summoned from Extra deck. Even if it's not once per turn, using it in pure Shiranui is worse than just using it in this build (Mayakashi Shiranui).

It's a toss up for me between 30 card grass shiras and this. If there was another extra deck space we could merge the 2 easily. Unfortunately though that's not the case :(
So I have all tier 2 kog decks & I win 10-15 in a row but as soon as a hit the legend 5 rank up to kog game it bricks my hand while the opponent has the best hand possible and beats me OTK Konami literally fucks me regardless of the money I’ve spent which is well over a grand & it’s utter bullshit
Can you do a video of how to spend gems wisely, best way to grind gems, get UR’s from boxes, and or whether or not certain staples are needed for the meta?
Go to duel links meta website, just type that exact same thing and it should bring you to it, there are guides on how to spend gems/earn them and pulling URs from boxes are completely random, he can't make a video on that. However at duel links meta's website there is a pack opening simulator so have fun I guess lol
You know what i do..i reset when ive bought like half of the box already...now u may or may not have what you're there for but u must have at least 3 ur cards already and from my expirience or luck...the second and third reset gives 75 to 89% chance of getting the ur card on the cover of the box..

Half this meta (maybe more) is countered by necrovalley, even in the tcg. The problem is that not many decks can afford to run it, and most that can are pretty bad.
Working on building a deck like this! Wouldn't mind seeing a deck built around Tatsunecro In the meantime I am having a lot of fun playing with a Neos/Shiranui deck with Favorite Hero + Zombie World + Red Eyes Zombie Necro Dragon
It is literally Shiranui without the banishing. But to be honest ... this deck is flawed (just like Shiranui) ... Necrovalley screws over both decks ... which means that Ancient Fairy Dragon and/or Ancient Pixie Dragon. Just remember combo hard, combo fast, and send them fools back to Fortnite. But look for Konami to adjust this to not allow the Shiranui SpectralSword cheat. But it is NOT top tier. It is Tier 2 at best.
I mean, the Necrovalley weakness applies to a lot of decks on the tier list. Crystrons for example have a crippling weakness to Necrovalley because they can't derive advantage otherwise. However, the fact that this deck can actively play cards like Ballista Squad and Cosmic Cyclone somewhat alleviates that weakness. I think it's like Grass Shiranui in terms of power level. It's extremely recursive, extremely aggressive and has a very powerful and definitive wincon, that's potentially better than Crystron Quariongandrax. This is to say, that Sunsaga for 5 basically wins you the game instantly. And it's consistent. In comparison, Dark magician can lose to Cyclone, lancea, and anything that can have more than 2500 atk w/ outs to circle (Cydra or Lunalight), besides the obvious Eye of Timaeus. Blackwings can't go first w/o the Necrovalley combo and even then, they need to draw BB close. Hero's have no turn 1 plays besides Plasma, which is hard if they don't draw Stratos. Mayakashi can go first or second and of course, w/o accessible and meaningful disruption and or negation (Sealed tombs for example would be extremely powerful against it, but is unfortunately seeing minimal play), can create an extremely recursive advantage engine that forces your opponents to waste resources trying to progressively out the board. The Sunsaga play forces them to do so on that turn, because by the next turn, they're done. Unequivocally.
If you got a something that can banish the grave yard mayashaki going be in trouble .can't come back what not there....make sure you take the tuner out first

When I used this deck in the loaner deck duels, I noticed that the level 2 tuner wasn't once per turn. I think I may use it with Shiranui

Against perfect turn 1 dm u need at least 2x copy of forbidden lance. Just 1 card can turn around the fight against cancer dm deck.

The fact that Mayakashi is heavily countered by Necrovalley... that alone discourages me from investing in this mini box.

Half this meta (maybe more) is countered by necrovalley, even in the tcg. The problem is that not many decks can afford to run it, and most that can are pretty bad.

In the meantime I am having a lot of fun playing with a Neos/Shiranui deck with Favorite Hero + Zombie World + Red Eyes Zombie Necro Dragon
What makes this deck potentially good is shiranuis.

It is literally Shiranui without the banishing. But to be honest ... this deck is flawed (just like Shiranui) ...
Necrovalley screws over both decks ... which means that Ancient Fairy Dragon and/or Ancient Pixie Dragon. Just remember combo hard, combo fast, and send them fools back to Fortnite. But look for Konami to adjust this to not allow the Shiranui SpectralSword cheat.
But it is NOT top tier. It is Tier 2 at best.
I mean, the Necrovalley weakness applies to a lot of decks on the tier list. Crystrons for example have a crippling weakness to Necrovalley because they can't derive advantage otherwise. However, the fact that this deck can actively play cards like Ballista Squad and Cosmic Cyclone somewhat alleviates that weakness.
I think it's like Grass Shiranui in terms of power level. It's extremely recursive, extremely aggressive and has a very powerful and definitive wincon, that's potentially better than Crystron Quariongandrax. This is to say, that Sunsaga for 5 basically wins you the game instantly. And it's consistent.
In comparison, Dark magician can lose to Cyclone, lancea, and anything that can have more than 2500 atk w/ outs to circle (Cydra or Lunalight), besides the obvious Eye of Timaeus. Blackwings can't go first w/o the Necrovalley combo and even then, they need to draw BB close. Hero's have no turn 1 plays besides Plasma, which is hard if they don't draw Stratos.
Mayakashi can go first or second and of course, w/o accessible and meaningful disruption and or negation (Sealed tombs for example would be extremely powerful against it, but is unfortunately seeing minimal play), can create an extremely recursive advantage engine that forces your opponents to waste resources trying to progressively out the board. The Sunsaga play forces them to do so on that turn, because by the next turn, they're done. Unequivocally.

If you got a something that can banish the grave yard mayashaki going be in trouble .can't come back what not there....make sure you take the tuner out first
