The Alderney Angling Festival has finished and I was beyond chuffed to catch my first ever sole from the shore😀😀😀they are not that common here so I was beyond thrilled to catch it and for it to be a qualifying weight to go on the board…made my Festival!!…take care,best wishes and tight lines xxxx

Thanks Nick Yeh it’s a great location, that castle in the background and straight into deep water, perfect. It can fish really well sometimes, just not that day but it doesn’t matter in a place like that. It’s a nice walk to it too from where you park the car so all in all a grand day out 👌
