I live in “the people’s republic of California” and can become so discouraged here. Have lived here all my life. I truly believe God comes to us. I keep my eyes and mind focused on him when I feel this discouragement and remember that my faith and trust will get me thru. He is my God, Jesus my Redeemer and Savior, and the Holy Spirit my Comforter. With that Triple power, I am fulfilled and safe. After a long shift at the hospital, I came home and my 6 year old, who has speech issues, pulled me to a room saying "mess, mess" I rolled my eyes and thought what mess am I cleaning up now? I found a few laptops all in a row, two of my kids playing computer games and the 6 year old watching Fr Dave's Mass! He was trying to say Mass! My heart melted and I rewarded him with a nice treat! 🍫

When you were talking about how God finds us, the song lyics from the legendary blonde song "One way or another, I'm gonna find you," immediately come to mind. I myself find God through music and song lyrics and that's one of the unique ways in which God comes to me indeed. God is awesome and he has very cool, unique, and creative ways of finding us, we just have to be open each day and always tell ourselves that there is no one way that he comes to all and that he comes to us in different cool ways. Thank you Father Dave for a beautiful mass. I received the annointing of the sick from Father Edwin here in Kuala Lumpur last Sunday. My surgery was on Wednesday and am now still in the hospital ward and watched your mass from my bed. The surgery went well but the doctors also found some other complications with my body. I know that Jesus will heal and protect me through the intercession of our beloved mother Mary. Please continue to pray for my healing, Father Dave. I remember being scared when I was told that I had Lyme disease and had it pretty bad. I remember at first feeling very small and alone. Then I remember Jesus helping me through it and offering up my sufferings for my parish that all of them may come to heaven. You can do that too through Christ who will strengthen you. I am 72and she is 55 ( she and he family have switched to Bible teaching churches).. I pulled away myself for about 10 years when I got divorced in my 40's... I sure missed penance, THE HOLY EUCHARIST my rosaries, Divine Mercy etc..Of course , I have some things that I do not agree with especially since Vatican 2 in the 60's( I was a young teenager and very sad about the so many changes) and now Pope Francis with his peculair., N.W.O. socialistic ideas.. Hi, Father Dave!!! I ❤ watching Mass in Tom's River!!! I have lived in Florida now for over 30 years. I am from Jersey and the neighbor from across the street where I grew up was from Tom's River. It is amazing, after Mass, the shot of you and Cragley out in the snow. I felt the cold, the air, the peace and serenity snows brings. I don't get home sick anymore, but one can never forget the beauty nature brings. You present the Mass in a most impressive way. And Diane is great, too!! Thank you for the day for another mass that I can relate to and wish and hope that God has a purpose for me and my cat Noodles. I keep him in my prayers and I don't know what to do but I keep praying to St Francis and to Jesus and God to help me have the strength to keep taking care of this cat as he's very healthy so the veterinarian says. He is urinating on my rug again and he did also last spring but there was an issue in the house with another cat coming up to my apt. entry!! Cats have a very keen sense of smell and they want to Mark the territory and he is very territorial I would imagine. Please keep me in your prayers so I can continue with the illness that I have in my hands and in my back to keep on cleaning up after him, Noodles, so he uses his cat box instead of underneath my bench in my living room where they sleep and play. Ooh I hope that my younger sister and I can make a sister's day or 2 out to see you at mass before or after your journey to Alaska... I am 72and she is 55 ( she and he family have switched to Bible teaching churches).. I pulled away myself for about 10 years when I got divorced in my 40's... I sure missed penance, THE HOLY EUCHARIST my rosaries, Divine Mercy etc..Of course , I have some things that I do not agree with especially since Vatican 2 in the 60's( I was a young teenager and very sad about the so many changes) and now Pope Francis with his peculair., N.W.O. socialistic ideas..
Do I know the answers ,,ABSOLUTELY NOT!!

Hi, Father Dave!!! I ❤ watching Mass in Tom's River!!! I have lived in Florida now for over 30 years. I am from Jersey and the neighbor from across the street where I grew up was from Tom's River. It is amazing, after Mass, the shot of you and Cragley out in the snow. I felt the cold, the air, the peace and serenity snows brings. I don't get home sick anymore, but one can never forget the beauty nature brings. You present the Mass in a most impressive way. And Diane is great, too!! Thank you for all the care and love you incorporate into the Mass. Blessings to you all!!!!

Thank you for the day for another mass that I can relate to and wish and hope that God has a purpose for me and my cat Noodles.
I keep him in my prayers and I don't know what to do but I keep praying to St Francis and to Jesus and God to help me have the strength to keep taking care of this cat as he's very healthy so the veterinarian says. He is urinating on my rug again and he did also last spring but there was an issue in the house with another cat coming up to my apt. entry!! Cats have a very keen sense of smell and they want to Mark the territory and he is very territorial I would imagine. Please keep me in your prayers so I can continue with the illness that I have in my hands and in my back to keep on cleaning up after him, Noodles, so he uses his cat box instead of underneath my bench in my living room where they sleep and play. Thank you and God bless you and I will have an open heart for God to come in and find me and I hope he finds me soon. Thank you

It's so funny you mentioned dishes. I was blessed with a countertop dishwasher that you can fill with 3 jugs of water, it's so easy to install that an 80-year-old woman could do this! Great for arthritic hands! What a blessing❣

Dear Fr. Dave. Your masses online have gotten me through all the restrictions this past few years of the pandemic. I have now returned to in person masses, but I would like to “attend” your online masses at least once a month…as long as you continue them. Note that Father Dave lists the timemark of his homily in the video notes. I, too have returned to Mass, but I'd highly recommend listening to the homily (and blooper reel) each week as added spiritual reflection. You can have your cake (breakfast?) and eat it too!
