I was given an advance copy of the book Glory Days. This series is exciting because only 11 percent of Christians feel they are living in the Glory Days. The Christian life is no cakewalk, there are battles, enemies, even failures in the Christian Canaan. There are problems in the Promised Land, but there are also solutions through Christ in our salvation. With Jesus, the Jordan Rivers will be forged, the Joshuas will fight, and the Jerichos will fall. As in Joshua, failures will come but no defeat is final. This book is aptly and cutely summarized by Max's dog Andy, who says, "when I wander too far from my master's voice, my life is ruff, ruff, ruff."
