A couple quick questions I'm curious about
1. When fading out the lowest guideline - We set in the guideline with the lever closed and then the first step to fade it out is also lever closed. Is there a reason for this? Doesn't this just bring up the original guideline slightly since it's the same lever position?
2. Does it make a difference whether I start attacking the lowest guideline first and then moving up rather than how you are working down from the top guideline?

Hey man great questions. For the first line were using mainly the corners of the clipper to attack and yes it brings it up slightly since were only going up about a quarter inch but the end result suits us because it almost compresses the fade a bit & for the second one the reason we don’t as its easy to take your fade up high when working from bottom up

Nice cut. But I never let a barber cut the beard. Get a beard trimmer and just drop the guard setting every couple millimeters. A perfect cut every time. No shade on barbers it’s just really accurate.

Since my clippers are zero gapped I like to fade with them open when a guard is on or else it will grind on the guard

I've been cutting my own hair since lockdown I ordered a facial trimmer started with that then on Christmas 2020 my sister got me the Wahl razor and I've been using that since. The only time since lockdown where I visited the barber was on my Brother's wedding.
