Lovely video, epic car and the soundtrack from that V6 is just gorgeous, and I love the owners passion and emotive descriptions of driving his car. He is a lucky man, these are very beautiful and incredibly rare classic cars. I also watch Mark's Italian Garage here on TH-cam as he is a specialist Fiat Dino restoration expert. Great video, please keep them coming!
So sorry to hear about tonight, Simon. If I can help in anyway, to help you guys rebuild, please let me know. I love your pasison for classic cars and your passion for cars in general. You, James and your father are at the top of your game. It breaks my heart to see what has happened tonight. I never got to visit the Engine Block, but I know I will soon. Keep up the good work and passion. Please reach out for help to rebuild. I know others will help too. If I've to shovel shit for a few days that's fine. Reach out and I'll do anything to help out. Bellissima Macchina 🍀 ma anche come raconti di amare questa bellissima Dino con un filmato e scelta di musica da grandissimo piacere 👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Complimenti
A dream car... bella macchina 👌 I'm driving my Fiat 124 Spider from 2017 in the same red (passione rosso) an black leather. Love it....🥰 That's my little Ferrari😇
Hi Simon just came across your channel this week. Great vids totally love this one, you must have got up early to get the parked shot by the Pepper Cadaster. You should keep making them great to see and Irish classic car channel on you tube. I have a collection of classics myself, I’m liking your choice of classics. I will arrange an appointment to view one or two of your cars when this C19 madness subsides.
The horse power for the "ferrari' Dino GT and the Fiat Dino where actually the same, the engines are identicle, both 2.0 and 2,4, Ferrari just quoted more horse power for the GT to justify the price difference, and one was Fiat and one sort of a Ferrari so the Fiat just well couldn't be as fast as the GT could it, what would the neighbours say! The final drive on the Fiat was also low to keep the top speed down, especially on the 2.4 whose quoted top speed was 132 purely because it ran out of revs but with the higher final drive from ZF will top 140.
NO It is the new FIAT GT2 engine that was built for ferrari. Ferrari still knew that it allo satred witha supercarged FIAT that was the ehart of the 1932 ALFa that won the GP , which then became the baswis for Alfa engines. Enzo then went further on that basis, while ALfa built a new 1950 s engine based on their old cars, while Lancia hired Jano to help with the Aurelia GT. The complex Aurelia engine is known just as its origin. Enzo has race engine needs a GT2 engine and knows that the Aurelia is a GT version,w hcih is why he asks FIAt to built a new engine fopr a GT2 car. the FIAt Dino is the FIAT and in principle somehwere is the Aurelia GT but updated to end 60s tech and whiel thinking from the suprecharged engines. This type fo FIAt should work well in a sportscar. You need to think FIAT here and in principle also withe Ferrari.
Alfredino never created that engine! Because of his terrible illness it wasn’t even his idea. It’s just a story Enzo made up after he won the F1 championship twice with the immortal F500 F1 which was of course an F2 but the Scuderia never raced it as an F2. Lampredi wanted to build a V6 but Enzo didn’t like that. Until’61 that is since the 156 Sharknose was made because of the rules.. again. Driving F2 cars in F1 and that’s the reason he needed Fiat. Etcetera
Well done lads a really enjoyable video. I look forward to meeting you, as I can see we have similar taste in cars. All the best and keep the videos coming!
Fantastic car, still totally underrated.
My father had one in the early '80s with the bigger motor, same color. This car ages very well and is drop-dead gorgeous.
This is beautiful. Dublin makes for a surprisingly good backdrop for automotive films. Irish car scene needs more class like this!
Lovely, lovely roadster! The sounds are unbelievable!
Thank you. That's exactly what classic car motoring is about.
Great video - Petrolicious meets Simon Kidston. Keep these coming 👍👍👍
Great to see another upload, class channel
It’s .......... 6:30 nearly nearly said it. Epic. It is epic. Wonderful video. Well done.
I love Dinos, what fantastic cars they are! The glory of Ferrari and Fiat sportcars is inside that jewel of mechanics and style. Pure emotions 🧡
Bellissima ! Un'opera d'arte italiana ! ✌️🇮🇹🤓

Brilliant and Beautiful!!!!
i was wondering what that glorious sound was going up and down our road .
Beautiful car. Can anyone imagine Dustin Hoffman driving this instead of the Alfa Romeo in The Graduate?
Beautiful car, and great video too!
Perfect Italian body and soul.
Lovely video, thanks for it

excellent car. Mint condition!!! Congratulations!!!
Some parts look identical to the Alfas of the same period. The sun visors, dash vents, rocker switches. Beautiful car.

All two-liter motors were 160 hp. The Ferrari motor having more power was just a Ferrari owners' myth.
Gorgeous
Meant to have been a V-12 Spider...
I forget the whole story
My friend Gianca, in Milano knew it...
