    Young lady I really liked the skirt. Between the lace/beads and the bright colors with the raw edge made it pop out. I was thinking that you could have added a second row of raw edge of the bottom of the skirt. Giving the skirt a look of lace and yet still chic look. Looking forward to your next tutorial. Have a nice weekend.

    Just thought I would put this together for those not familiar with the lovely UK terms.
    UK English to North American English.
    Haberdashery = Notions
    Pritt Stick = Glue Stick
    Stitchless TV "bobkin" = Bodkin
    Bondaweb = Double-sided Iron-on Interfacing
    Raffia Braiding = Burlap Ribbon
    Non-turning Elastic = No Roll (or Non-Roll) Elastic
    Thanks sew much Tree for your fabulous tutorials. :) Wish I was there!

      Hello Simon Gunns,
      Check the make and model and search online for the instruction booklet. Or this video may help th-cam.com/video/n7SxLOq6sd4/w-d-xo.html (it's not brilliant but might give you some ideas) Each machine is a bit different.
      Also, if the machine has not been used or serviced for ages it may not work very well. You might need to give it some oil.
      Don't know if that was any help.

      ***** in general no, not often because when sewing stretch fabric I rely more on the stitch being stretch eg. a slight zig zag or using a twin needle to #sew the hem of a stretch fabric. I have a tutorial of how to use a twin needle. Thanks alot,

    Hello Tree, melody here. I have a huge request for you. I was watching upcycling tutorials today and came aacross something wonderful. It was by Miss Louie called OOTD: American Apparel Chiffon Skirt = 5 Different Looks! You can find it by searching that title above. Coming to my point, the skirt is a sheer type with two layers, and she shows five different styles to wear it, very very unique. I would love to see your adaption of the skirt maybe using two different colors and making it reversable. Please please watch the video, i know you would love it, and maybe become inspired. Its nice to use one piece of clothing and beable to wear it several times and different ways. I hope this will inspire you to create outfits similar that can adapt to many versitile fashions. Your amazing, thanks so much for inspiring me to learn this new craft.

    I meant Tre, darn auto correct. There when you don't want it, but not when you need it.
