Submitting my PhD Thesis

Where have I been for the longest time? Working on the final stages of my PhD, that's where!
I vlogged my submission process from getting my final comments to handing the thing in and what a surprise - it didn't go smoothly. But now just my exam to go until this degree is fini!!
Also apols for blurring out the screens - until my thesis is published I can't share what is in it!

Thanks for this one, it's nice to be reminded that my monstrous MA thesis will end one day, eventually 😂 Congratulations!
Word and libre office both are bad at exporting to nice PDFs, which is why I will go with something called Pandoc if the department/advisor/faculty is fine with me not using word (it can make word files too but idk how good).
I'm also considering writing the earliest drafts by hand because I feel like when transcribing to the computer you catch a lot of errors that are hard to spot when reading.

Could you please share the number of pages and words required for a decent PhD thesis?
Currently I am struggling with writing my first chapter only, don't know how will I make it tille the end :(

I’ve seen as few as 95 pages and upwards of 400 pages. There’s no set standard but instead have an adequate literature review, thoroughly answer the research questions, and present findings. Mine was about 240 pages, 45k words.
