Killin in Perthshire Scotland, in this video we travel around the village of Killin in Perthshire Scotland. This video tries to capture the mood of the Village with soothing music and some history of the village.
Absolutely beautiful! Perthshire is truly breathtaking! All of this made even more wonderful by being backed up with such lovely peaceful background music! Also, this was beautifully filmed & presented! Thank you for sharing this delightful experience in this enchanting & tranquil place!
Hi Yvonne, I'm glad you enjoyed it! thank you so much for your comment and support, i'm nearly finished another video, which i hope the new addition will be continued in all my video's. Peace and love.
The Falls of Dochart Inn and the bridge feature in the 1958 film The Thirty Nine Steps, a remake of the Hutchcock film, this time starring Kenneth Moore. Just close to the Inn is Scotlands second oldest concrete rail viaduct over the river, which is now a public footpath.
Well thank you Ruth, I'm very pleased you liked it. This video as I was doing it, through researching the story of it, I was struck by the hardships the people had during the 18th and earlier, back then it was very hard to live. Have you seen the Glencoe video I did, as there will be a new version of it, coming soon, and I'm planning on a more epic video this time. Lets hope it works out Lol
I will thanks, I do like this hobby, I do travel to some amazing places like this one. Oh the 25th of December 2021 was when this video was film, and uploaded on the 15th of Jan 2022, I checked it out, sorry for the wrong date LoL.
Part 1 Hi mcladrif. Killin is a village in Perthshire in the central Highlands of Scotland. Situated at the western head of Loch Tay, it is administered by the Stirling Council area. Killin is a historic conservation village and sits within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. This is why I said that Killin is in Perthshire, although it's administered by the Stirling Council area. Check out Pt 2 for the follow-up.
Part 2 Hi mcladrif, if you go back in history, you would find that Killin was or is part of Perthshire in Scotland. I spoke of the history of the place, which includes Killin being in Perthshire. There are so many changes etc these days, it's hard to keep up with it all. 😁
Hi Anju, I'm glad you made some effort to comment on one of my videos. I have explained in a comment that I made before about the thumbnail image. I can't remember what video I did it for, but it's there somewhere. Have a look through my videos to find it, if you like 👍

Hi Alex, Yeah, I would agree with that, very fresh as well 🖕
@@theadventurer28 i wanna live here
It does get very cold in the winter time. It's also a bit isolated, though it is nice and quiet, without any of that city noise etc. 🙂
Think Killin needs to be in Perth & Kinross again,
Hi West, I do try my best with these videos. I do hope you like them ❤️
@@theadventurer28 I do, I was just moaning that Killin and Western Perthshire are now in Stirling Council area and not in Perth & Kinross.
