I think they can score wasari for those "half hit" techniques and Ippon for the Full hit point, it's way more fare. Please WKF, back with the "shobu sanbon" system.

no. this is sports karate kumite for scoring a point and not for street fight. teachers teach the students to separate this sports kumite from street. our teacher teaches us elbows and knee attacks, hits on the throat and ears, etc. we can't do these attacks in kumite cause it's very dangerous, but we perform these attacks on mitts.
