How fast can a Venus flytrap catch a fly?

Spoiler! It cant!!
I was minding my own business cooking dinner, and a fly buzzed right by my ear.
But this is ridiculous, I have a Flytrap right in the next room! "You had one job flytrap"
Later I noticed it had landed, so I bagged it up and gave it 30 seconds in the freezer to slow it down, and into the pop bottle terrarium. Sorry little guy, I have mouths to feed.

It had a second fly yesterday. I think one has to be careful not to give it too much at once.
