    I thought I saw a Goodies LP there? Do you ever see any George Formby on your travels?

    Dude! I actually visited your Winchester store back around 2017. You must have just been getting started as there weren't many records at the time. I live in Texas now, but used to have good luck up in PA. Attic Records in Millvale and George's in Johnstown had a lot of clean old-store stock. Leslie's in Charles Town, WV, was a honey hole but was destroyed in 2016 fire. Happy hunting!

    I have been to this place a number of times and never found any great records. But good comics and toys.

    I see alot of those albums when I go to our local antique malls. The good records are so hard to find now. That Mick Jagger album is everywhere. Lol.

    Those ‘iconic’ records are only iconic in the sense that you see most of them in every $1 bin. 😂

    I hate antique malls for records, selling flea market/thrift store crap for big bucks.

    I thought for a while there I was in for a bit of disappointment, that was until you discovered some cheap 45s.
    There is always something about digging through 45s especially the vintage kind.

  • @CactusCowboy57
    @CactusCowboy57 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Bigger is not always better. I see a lot of TUC (the usual crap) in those bins. Some nice LPs in the glass case. The 45s you picked looked interesting. This video reminds me of Granny's Attic in Billings, Montana, closed about ten years ago. Granny's Attic had a huge room filled with thousands of records. Mostly a waste of time as 98% of it was TUC. But I did find a few gems there.

    The only ones I spotted besides the Presence, Desire, and Tapestry, were that Little Feat album and also a decent looking Poco which looked like Cantamos from 1974. Other than that and some 45's, that big place was a "wasteland."

    I collect rare 45s. I buy and sell in my classic rock shop located at the Grafton flea market in grafton MA. I hunt for rare UK or Japanese singles. Some 45s go for big bucks as you know. I am looking for wasp now. With original pic sleeves. And I also buy and sell cassettes. I sold a Nirvana Nevermind cassette for 12.00. Come visit flea market sometime. I don't have a big collection but what I sell are decent. There are a few good vendors inside that sell rock albums.

    Most of the records in this market were your usual thrift shop staples, but the dealer at 10:40 with the records in the glass case had a few that were worthwhile, namely The Belmonts. By the way, how did you make out the Manila Machine sealed LP that you found in the tractor trailer?

    • @BacktotheMedia
      @BacktotheMedia  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kept that Manila! Too awesome to sell. Have contemplated opening it for a spin. I'm just not a fan of opening something that's been sealed so long haha. Thanks for watching!

    Buddy. Virginia? You might brush up on your classical inventory values because I saw a couple goodies in there, and if you think one thousand bucks for a pop record is about as good as it gets, brush up on your classical records.

    • @BacktotheMedia
      @BacktotheMedia  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I never listen to classical so just never bothered to learn the market. Also our customers rarely buy it from us and it sits in store unsold for months. So we don’t bother with it much, good news tho.. more for you 👍

    Right now Ont. is still in a provincial stay-at-home lock down. I'll bet that when everything opens up, guaranteed that most vendors at the flea markets / antique malls will still have the same items, priced high. Believe me that it's still the same items as of 15 - 20 yrs. ago. I continue to wonder what kind of business attitude these people stubbornly have? On very rare occasions I might find a vendor selling albums for low reasonable prices.

    • @ritchiebabcock3358
