It's not the heat it's the humidity that cures 42and great job

What a great team effort in hoisting the pilot house into place.

Absolutely the very best boat project I have seen. Only now I realized how many details have to be taken into consideration to implement such a project. I am truly speechless. Very well done. Congrats and regards from Switzerland. Silvano

Great work and looks really nice fit. 💪
Have followed the whole process of building it in the heat I am impressed.
Doing similar though in much colder area and lucky to have a workshop building in with heating 😊
3x5 meters hardtop for aft deck and wheelhouse.
Starting to lay the inner foam sheets within minuttes- whish me luck 🤞

I'll try not, just a little embarrassed that I could have done better, if only I could take a mulligan lol.

First, Fantastic job on the Hardtop Bimini!! It looks fantastic!! I have a question though. Why didn't you put more mounting bolts near the front of the hardtop? I might have put one on each side in the curve near your speakers. This would have provided a more secure alignment, reduced pressure/stress (horizontal load) of all movement being put on the rear mounting bolts. Plus putting in near the speakers would have given you great access for tightening down the front. Just curious as to your thoughts there. That being said, the work you did and the finished product is the best I have seen. I am following many of your steps and learning from your lessons on my hardtop project. SPECTACULAR!!

Thank you for the kind words. I'm considering making a sort of bracket that will double as a step to get on top the "roof" which would solve both. It would have been tricky to get bolts as secure in front as the back are but not impossible. Still brainstorming on the idea. Thank you.

@Hklsailing that would definitely be a way to secure the front of the bimini and reduce that horizontal load. Again, great job!
