It was a woke year, they had to cut her and some other skilled talent to promote the handicap kid to win. Kodi Lee won that season; he was a good singer considering his disabilities; but he wasn't the most talented compared to several of the other singers, including Charlotte. Even the reason they cut her was an obnoxious excuse, Simon claimed the song was "too mature" for her as if other kids hadn't sang adult themed songs before. Her version of Diamonds are Forever is better than the original.

I loved it the first time I heard her sing it and love it more and more each time I watch her sing it. The only thing I miss is after she is done is no little smile or wink or the beautiful eye contact. She just walks away, she looked sad.
