Steve, you keep bragging about the finishing of GF over and over...if it is truly that great then the pictures and videos don’t reflect that at all. EVERYONE can see/understand and appreciate Lange finishes, specially in Datographs and Double/Triple Splits but these GF watches simply don’t show that.
Keep looking! In the land of diminishing returns, it's not always easy to know exactly what you're looking at. It helps to see many watches in person so you can get a baseline of experience

Lange doesn't do much internal beveling until you're into 6 figure watches. Their englage is not as thick and as rounded. Something like a Laurent ferrier offers way higher levels of finishing than lange at a similar price point, just look at their micro rotor movement. With something like this watch, even the hands have internal beveling and sharp internal angles And we haven't even touched the movement. There are multiple types of finishing on all surfaces which makes it way harder to do and to do well because contrasting finishes can also highlight poor craftsmanship. This is why many brands just avoid variation in themes. Then you add the fact that even individual gear teeth are given the same level of treatment so that you can look at it with a high quality loop and still won't come out with any defects over hundreds if not thousands of surfaces. That's what you're paying for
