    I had the pleasure of being a Birdog pilot. 1968-69. My call sign was Shotgun 34. Captain Rains was Shotgun 35. 2 21st Recon Airplane Company. 😊Recon Airplane

    My dad was stationed there at An Khe camp Radcliff 65-66 1st Cav in a chemical battalion handling agent orange

      Earl,I hope your dad made it through without getting any of the illnesses attributed to Agent Orange dioxins. All the guys I served with that I stayed in contact with have all died from cancer. A grim topic but I'm a two time cancer survivor from Agent Orange exposure. During chemo the oncologist tested my DNA and told me my cancer was from dioxins. It seems the damage to the DNA leaves certain specific markers. I had no idea myself.
