Hello, Just stumbled across your video. Very interested in the make of the Sanding pads and RPM of the polisher. I’m looking to restore my sons’ factory glass on his Chevy Blazer. Thanks in advance.
This gives me hope that i might be able to get razor blad scratches out of my car window instead of replacing. Does it matter on sandpaper type, do you need rayon felt pad when polishing with cerium oxide?
Tempered. Never broken a tempered glass ever. Probably polished 2000plus windows. I generally avoid windscreens unless it's brand new. Laminate can be broken easily where the edges are chipped or damaged or where there are chip or crack repairs in the glass. Some late windscreens are worth thousands of dollars these days.
How to mix cerium oxide 50% water %cercuim oxide the if done add 30 rubbing compound to aviod CO for drying and used rayon pad .not feltpad.silicon carbide.is better than diamon sanding
@glasspolish I found out that the hard way once. I thought at the time.... oh, cool, a new way to cause a problem for myself just discovered. Just when you think you getting to master it a new variable pops up aye
Thsts a good rig you have made there! Awesome!
What did you say before mentioning the 100 to 3000 grit strength? Amazing work!😮
Hello my friend, what are the sanding steps for deep scratches? What is the sanding size?

Don't attempt it yourself. Unless you willing to wreck the glass trying. This is specialist work and alot can go wrong.
Turn closed captions on if you can't understand him.
What did you use after 120 grit?
Fabulous! Can you come to Oklahoma and fix my glass?😊

are you wearing a mask?
What kind of polish?
It can be any wax or finish compound.
Cirium oxide on a felt pad with water. Always must stay wet. If it dries and hardens in the pad it can cause new scratches
