DEAR FRIEND. I AM A FAITHFUL FOLLOWER OF YOUR PAGE AND YOUR MAGNIFICENT PAGES, TO THE POINT THAT I HAVE A FOLDER of your VIDEOS. A QUESTION, WHERE TO BUY THE LONG PUNCH IN WHICH THE BUCKLE IS PASSED. VERY ORIGINAL AND I HAD NEVER SEEN THAT MODEL. THANKS A LOT
I purchase my bridle butt's from Abbey England and Metropolitan Leather 👍 you will need to cut a straight edge on the best side before cutting any straps

OMG!! You have "The Strap Cutter" from California!? The one I have from "overseas" keeps making crooked straps. Do you know where I can get one like you have? Or something that won't waste my time and money? It's hard to find quality these days. I just cut out a belt and a liner by hand with a box cutter. Looks better than my strap cutter's work. Cheers from Canada. 🙃
I got that one years ago and I think the place where I got it no longer stocks 'The Strap Cutter' version any more, which is a shame as it is a very nice cutter. The one I use now (birthday present to myself a few years back) was from a guy called VS tools, they are hand made and a bit pricy, but 100% worth it if you are making straps all the time. www.inspireuplift.com/shop/VStools he is also on Instagram instagram.com/vintagestudioshop/
Hi good video. I noticed you are using an Induction hob for heating your iron. Could you tell me where you obtained it? I have been looking at them and they seem to have sensors that won't work unless a pan is placed on them? Any advice is greatful! Have been following you and just starting out..
Hi Tanya I got it off ebay a few years ago. It was listed as a travel hob I think (it was about 4 years ago that I got it), it was about £25-30. I haven't seen one where it has sensors in so maybe health and safety laws have changed?
Is that english bridle that you use for your belt in this video? I'm having quite the fun trying to locate english bridle leather in Canada. Excellent video! Thank you for sharing.
Hello +The Modifier yes the belt is made from English bridle butt. Not sure on shipping prices but Abbey England are a supplier for Sedgwicks bridle leather (which is fab) and they ship worldwide.
I watch all 3 parts and you did better than most men show in youtube their expertises. Only your stitching is not done accurately, but this is black belt with black thread will not be visible. I understand very well your english living in UK and working with english people overseas. of course some of them have horrible local accents. Many foreigners with few knowledge in English will be difficult to understand what you are saying. when you talk just slow down the speed of talking and it will be ok for newbies in english. Nice jobs.
Glad you like the video 🙂 this was one of my first videos so I was still getting used to voice overs and getting the camera in the right place. I am planning to remake some of my videos to update them and this is one of them. Thank you for your feedback 👍

Thank you@@JHLeather !! ☺
Hi Jo,
Would you recommend bridle butt for belts always or could you use shoulder if its an.adequate thickness?
Thanks
Tanya
Hi Tanya, yes a thick shoulder would be fine for belts. I have more uses for bridle butt which is why I use that.
Hi, what's the stain powder you use? Cheers for the video.
Hello +Shane Fullwood, I use the powder dye from Abbey England --> abbeyengland.com/Store/ProductID/68775?txtSearch=Powder+stain+

Many Thanks! Keep up the fantastic work. Love the videos, they aren't full of banter, but to the point. It makes it far easier to learn.
