  • A former Galway ferry vessel that has fallen into a severe state of disrepair is to be torn apart and removed from its site in Dublin.
Earlier this year, the Naomh Éanna partially sank at the Grand Canal Basin.
It has been tied up in Ringsend for more than 30 years and its partial sinking prompted renewed calls for its removal.
Contractors are now on site to strip down the vessel.
