Another Progressive Psy Trance job on my Korg E2S. I tried to follow most popular sounds and arrangement of Psytrance tracks on festivals.
Difficult to work on this device, even more in psytrance. It is pretty difficult to make a balance mixing or cut frequencies, because it has not a good tool for that work. I should work a little bit more on Kick and Bass sound, What do you think ?
Also when you have a couple of sounds at the same time it's hard not to sound too muddy in the mix. One has to keep the sounds well defined to be as clear as possible.
Anyway I feel it is a great canvas to play any music you want, and enjoy doing tracks, sounds, patterns or loops.

Quite some people complain about the workflow and some limitations herewith, however in my opinion you either dive deep and embrace the limitations, or choose another instrument to work with- I stuck with the deep dive and never regretted it (;

@benignaudio7514 Yes, I totally agree. As electribe's owner, we have to deal with his limitations. But I read a time ago that " best tool for creativity is limitations", indeed, it is true. I haven't time in my day by day for deep configuration equipment, dive in menus or complex arrangements. Electribe gives me the pleasure to think just in 'what's the next' and keep my mine clear about routing, fxs, settings, pluggings, technical issues or processes...

Ey ! Claro estaría genial hacer una colaboración 🙌.
Algunos sonidos sí son propios, sobre todo baterías kicks, snare, etc. Creo que solo el Kick es bastante diferente al que trae de serie la Electribe, la caja y hihats podría utilizar los sonidos nativos. También alguna simple cycle waveform, ya que sería imposible hacer ese sonido granulado que suena por el minuto 9 con los OSC de la Korg ( aunque creo que a día de hoy si podría hacer algo parecido) También el bajo creo que es una single cycle waveform, para hacerlo más punch, de los OSC de serie suena un poco más opacos. El resto de sonidos, sintes, pads, fx... estan hechos con los OSCs propios de la Korg. No suelo utilizar loops.

Thanks ! Yes You can record and sample it either an external device like synth or with a microphone. The only bad thing is it has not a lot of space.

You can use the SD card either import or export, sounds for sampling or full tracks or patterns. If you wanna create your own sound banks, I recommend you create it with your computer and software for that.

Thanks! Although you are not a keen on psytrance music Its great to know you said that about my music :). Korg Electribe is not an easy machine to get good sound, but to work everything is possible, I hope to make more full track, and better arrangements. Some of the sounds are from stock and others from my own. I usually make my own or take some of them from tracks or sample packs.

Yes, I think so, but I am not completely sure. It has one stereo inputs, and you can process in real time . But I 've never tried to sampling a external input.

For me it suits very well in the inspiration process. No menu diving at all and everything has a knob or fast short cut. I have also a Roland, great features, but I spend almost 30 minutes to make a sound, it disturbing and breaks my creative process , 3 minutes in my korgs. I think is depends of your workflow, music and point.of view.
