Watching this video with your lil helper makes me miss my girls at that age. They are 26 and 30 now so hold on to these precious moments. It goes by so fast
I got the Hot toys version. I'm sure the Jazzinc version will be superior, I'm just not sure it will be worth difference in price. There comes a point where it is diminishing returns. You could buy 2 of these for the price of Jazzinc's. I was blown away by this piece and was glad to finally get it in my collection. It may not be the best you can get, but it certainly gets the job done and more. I can't see anyone being disappointed in this piece. This is coming from someone who grew up with Keaton Batman and this Batmobile has been my dream car since I was 8 years old in 89.

I didn’t even think about the Jazzinc. The price difference isn’t a problem for me, and it’s not that big given the 2 are already very expensive. I don’t think Jazzinc marketed it as good as they could have for someone like me to me think ‘fine’ otherwise I would have bought it instead of the Hot Toys, but I’m not peeved.
I can see the differences and it’s probably worth the price given the precision modeling.
With this said, the wow factor is exactly the same. I’m not one to buy something like this to impress friends and family. I have toys that are a lot more expensive and made of metal, some much bigger. I buy toys for me to satisfy an unreasonable amount of neurotic and selfish needs.
This HT Batmobile is going to have this wow factor every time I’m going to see it: the soundtrack kicks in, the catchphrases resonate high (who are you?! I’m Batman etc), and the remembrance of what I went through as a kid during Batmania ‘89.
The only thing I’m really upset about though is that it doesn’t come with the shield. I wouldn’t have used it much tbh, but I’d still would have liked it.
-I could be mistaken but usually the stork brings those wrapped in a blanket and not sent through the mail in a box (0:01).

Holy fuck that thing is beautiful. I know it's a bit pricey but I would do everything in my power to get this only if I had the space to display it. That was the main thing holding me back from getting any sixth scale vehicles.

Who the hell cares what everybody else says and thinks. You have the 89 batmobile in your kitchen 😱😱😱😱 So what It's a little undersized. This thing is my childhood. After seeing this movie in 1989 when I was 9 years old, I was hooked on Michael Keaton Batman.

I still have the original in the box, I only opened it for inspection and boxed up again. Since then I never got to move because of financial situations so I didn't have room to display it. With that being said I'm going to put it on Ebay at a very reasonable price and right now I'm just waiting for the one I ordered from Jazz Inc.
Why even buying it if you kept it in box and will resell it?
@thestarkknightreturns my intention was to open it and display it, but never acquired the space. My intention was not to but it to resell it. But I should be moving soon to a bigger place and I'm just waiting for the one from Jazz inc to arrive. So that's my reason. It's still in the box, only issue I am pretty sure those stupid button batteries are probably pretty much dead by now.
@@reinaldorodriguez7314 well thank you for the explanation. I acquired the McFarlane Gold Label 89 Batmobile and for what it is, I'm really happy. I'm aware that the Hot Toys one is even bigger, but that's the reason why I never even consider buying it in the first place. It really is too much real estate taken by a collectible.
It's the same as those 1:1 statues. I'd love to get one, but they take up too much space. They're not even on my wish list...

I seen a little blemish on the passenger side rear fender. It was about 1 o'clock to the right top of the tire.
I saw the spot now that you mentioned, nothing crazy to make send the car back.
Does it roll on the floor with its own momentum? Cool demo with the little one pushing!

Its a cool piece for what it is if you dont want to spend the money on the Jazz Inc, if somebody made a correct canopy it would change the profile of it a lot

Congrats on the pick up. Loved seeing the car in natural light! I’ve got the Jazz Inc ‘89 ordered, so I’ll be really interested to see your comparison review. With regards to no cocoon for this release - apparently it caused damage to a lot of cars during shipping for the previous version, causing minor scuffing to the bodywork, so I expect this was a big reason for it not being re-issued this time around. I’m particularly intrigued to see how much of a difference it makes having painted bodywork for the Jazz Inc version. Thanks for posting Ryan! 👍🏼
Congrats, man! Glad there weren't any QC issues with it. It's funny that you mentioned this will be your "Returns" Batmobile because the black nose cone on it is accurate to Returns so it works out nicely. '89 had a silverish nose cone. I'm really looking forward to your comparison video with the Jazzinc car.

Breathtaking. The iconic look, the rich black paint and proportions all come together to form something very special. Even if it's underscaled, it still looks just about right next to the Batman figure. My only disappointment is the absence of the shield cocoon, not only should they have included it, they should have made it much tougher than the previous one. The cocoon would provide the double bonus of offering a different display option and a dust cover.
I don't know what it is about this car, it's been underscaled in many sizes by numerous manufacturers. Incompetence or is it a case of manufacturers cutting costs? The Hot Wheel 1/18 being diecast is one of my favourite models, yet it's undersized. It should be dwarfing other cars at that scale, but unfortunately the interior looks tiny in comparison.

Thanks so much. Realistically it would be hard to give the car anything above a B+ since really it’s copy of the original with minimal upgrades.

Still,it looks BADASS and know many who would Love to own the HT one and yes the Other one looks very Promising and awesome as well,but the Price point is the difference.the HT by now, Should have been USB but it's something that Can be taken care of.
Mine is still in the Box and CAN'T WAIT to open it up soon as I get a Chance.

The Jazzinc one probably will be slightly better, more accurate and so on. The key thing it is the price point for Jazzinc, for that amount it becomes really heavy on the wallet.
100% agree with you. It comes to affordability and what someone is content with spending to be happy

Hard pass. The McFarlane 89 Batmobile does the trick for me, at a faction of the price.
