I like the simple dates because they shouldn’t get used to an extravagant life style but, I do wish there was an engagement in the end
More commitment would be nice. Maybe get rid of the ppl there for fame.
They need a reunion show like the Bachelor’s After the Final Rose to see who is still together and who is not.
An update would be great. Was hoping they’d give us a sneak peek at the end.
@@luminousposse2764 Bummer to hear that it didn’t work out for Landon and Allen. Hunter’s love for Meghan did feel the most genuine. The other two just seemed like they were starting to feel each other out.
This was a waste. These women were too young not ready for marriage they got 15 minutes of fame
I think if Farmer Landon chose Ashley R they would have still been together. Seems like he made a mistake. I would love to see Ashley R get a spin-off show like how VH1 used to do with players on their dating shows, because she seems like a great woman and a lot of fun and I think seeing men fight over a single mom would be really important and inclusive representation for society.
@@lexa_powerfight over a single mom? WTH? You love “Bachelor Nation” drama, don’t you? I think that show has messed it up for any other sarong show since people want the cat fights and constant backstabbing. This show, with the girls getting along and acting like mature adults, was a nice change. However, the girls were too young AND refused to leave the city so that was a bust.

I can’t believe there’s not a reunion type thing. Overall it was a quick, enjoyable watch.
Yeah, they could’ve used a reunion. Unfortunately none of the couples lasted, despite allegedly being the most successful show.
Yes Alan and Becca were very similar in personality and Hunter and Ms Nashville were very similar too

Definitely looking forward to the interview with Ryan. I hope things work out with him and Haley, but if not, at least he learned to show some vulnerability... Which is hard for any man that hasn't exactly shown it. There's something positive about that, if nothing else comes out of his experience, I root for him. I'm just disappointed they they haven't announced or doing a reunion show or something. it's like we have to go hunting for ourselves to find out these things lol. I heard Hunter and Megan are still together... I have a feeling he's going to do everything he can to make it work even if she doesn't put the same effort in, but time will tell, because from how everyone is saying the rest didn't make it, that's another clear indication we need a follow-up and not be left in the dry. All in all this episode wasn't the best of the season, they kinda gave some spoilers away that you already expected to happen. If you can ask Ryan this maybe. What he would've changed about the whole experience and how he choose who to stay and who to go, considering how it all played out in the end. I know he would choose Haley "NOW", but I'm kinda interested if some of the other girls would have had a better opportunity like Porsche than Sara H, or maybe Sara v. You guys have been great and I'm glad to be subscribed to you guys!

Hayley sucks. He was right to send her home. I hope they’re not back together. Sarah was a good choice but she didn’t want to leave the city. I didn’t like anyone other than Sarah.

It was definitely weird and disappointing the way they did that.
I enjoyed the show. It was real and realistic. Maybe there will be updates on the couples. I found it more sensible than some reality shows that have an engagement with little time together. I think the chance of a longterm situation is greater if they can at least see each other enough to make it work. I guess there will be some relocating of some sort, even if it's just close enough that the relationship can continue. I wish the best for everyone.
I actually loved the way they showed Allen, Khelsi, and Rebecca's finale.
As for Rebecca and Allen, even though they both appear reserved, I just didn't feel or see a romantic connection, so I think the "friend zone" was correct.

Sounds like Allen and Khelsi didn’t last long at all. Rebecca may have been a better choice, even with the distance.

Though Allen choose who I liked for him. However Allen and Rebecca may end up later. Just watch and see. You need a build a friendship first and get to know each other. Hunter made the best choice. I am happy to see it. It was the most authentic. Landon not sure about. I think he chose the right one for him by the home visit.

I agree that most of this show was predictable. I was happy with Landon's choice. Allen will be happy with Khelsi. She adores him. She can learn the farm duties. I liked Hunter and Meaghan. I hope she doesn't let him down. I was sad Ryan didn't end up with anyone. Haley wasn't sure about herself. I'm hoping for a "where are they now" episode.
I really enjoyed your reviews and am going to follow you on your next adventure. I'm open to see what happens next!

We will eventually do the Bachelorette and The Ultimatum. We will also find something to do until then.

@@TheGedunkSara V needed more attention than Ryan could give. Even her parents told him that and I’m sure she’s used to being constantly hit on at the bar so if she’s not getting that regular reinforcement then she’ll be nagging him (like she already was in the basketball court). No man wants a needy woman.
Any chance you can get interviews with ALL the farmers and get an update on their lives and relationships post show? It feels like we were just left hanging and have no idea what’s happened with these couples since filming ended. I’m guessing since Hunter and Meghan are the only ones there seems to be information about online that the other couples aren’t together… but it would be nice to know.
We will definitely ask Ryan if he keeps in contact and has an update on all the farmers.
The other couples might just be smart an not expose their budding relationship to public scrutiny. The smartest thing these couples could do is disappear to work on their relationship in private before going public with their relationship. We might not like it, but it is their life and not ours.

@@floram3722 I agree with you, but is more going to fall on the women to travel, because eventually they have to choose farm life versus urban or suburban life. If they want the farm to travel more than it is obvious they don’t want farm life.

I agree with all you say. The show really needs a follow up. Are they still together? It doesn't seem likely there are going to be marriages out of this one because of long distances after the show and not enough time together on the show.

Most of them aren’t together anymore. The next season definitely needs to step it up a notch or two.
The show was nice with the low drama. It’s a breath of fresh air in comparison to other dating shows out right now. However I would like to see more individual time between the farmers and women. I feel like we barely saw anyone alone or any connections happen at the farm.
Landon: honestly, we should’ve seen this coming. His friend made a comment that he always goes for the fun “go with the flow” girls and that’s what Ashley was. Ashley R has a child and was is older and basically means more responsibility and seriousness. And of course after the death of his father, Landon would go for the emotionally easier choice.
Hunter: I think he made a bad choice. Megan came across very manipulative and he ignored some big red flags. I think they’re happy now because it hasn’t come to a point where she has to move or not. He should’ve given Davonne more of a chance because she was willing to completely uproot for him and be serious.
Ryan: When we talk about Sara I think we forget that she made it to the final 2 by default since Lilly left. We knew he wanted Sarah but Sarah left him in NY. I’m just happy that he didn’t continue to string Sara along just to end up with someone.
Allen: I think Allen made the right choice for him. The whole time I was watching the show, I kept saying that him and Rebecca seemed more like childhood friends than dating. Hopefully it works out.
More individual time would definitely be good, I felt like they hardly knew any of the women.
It’s a shame Landon and Allen couldn’t make it work.
From what I can tell, the only ones still together are Hunter and Meghan and I’ve heard that one isn’t all rainbows and butterflies and it probably won’t last.

Sidney is very professional, by Hunter not choosing her was fine with her. The other girls cried she didn’t.
I think she would have been a better choice for him, but you are right. It still would have been difficult for them to work out as well.

Sorry to say, the Australian version is better, because I think they have more episodes allowing a more in-depth look at each relationship. The pace of this American version is just so quick, you can’t really enjoy the show, because things are so basic.
So, first off, I would recommend four or five more episodes in total. Second, the farmers need to be more direct in their relationship approach. I am not sure as you said, if these American farmers thought this was about really finding a wife. In some cases, I think decisions were made totally on looks. The farmers should be given a schedule for the first week or two that they have to follow, meaning spending time alone with each woman, along with questions in a box approach, where they have to discuss relationship similar question with each woman. Third, initial interview between participants should be longer, or have a part of it as a panel letting the women ask each other questions, exposing some of the differences initially. I mean you could have asked Hunter if age matters and then go after Sydney and Meaghan due to their age versus the questioner. I also agree with you that the women casted, need to be older and more committed to an actual marriage and farm life. Fourth, in the Australian version the farmers did make some contacts with other farmer potential choices. It played out after the series was done, but a child was created as a result of one off farm relationship after he dumped his final choice. Fifth, following along with what you suggested, give each woman I can leave the farm button and choose another farmer to be played by only one woman on each farm during the first four weeks, then once she makes her choice, all the women on all farms get to vote secretly on whether to let her move or get immediately ejected. This put some pressure on the farmer to really getting moving in finding a relationship that works. Six, allow no one to break from the show and then reappear a week or so later. It gives them an unfair advantage, because they potential can miss a cut down, or it changes the playing field because of the time difference between events, I.e. - the Ashley dates.
There really is no point in a US reunion show, because there is no real commitment in the end. I am pretty sure the Australian version has a reunion show, but it just gets into a Love is Blind panel type of things between the couples and not all the participants. Again, Australian has no hard commitment either at the end. So, no real drama, because no one seems to hate on each other as they do in Love is Blind. Unless, their is a marriage they want to film or a child birth, all their going to say is we are dating long-distance or living together.
As to the couples…. I hope if Meaghan and Hunter ever get married, that Hunter gets Meaghan to sign a ironclad pre-nup on the issue of not selling his ranch. I just don’t see that relationship happening for the long haul. Meaghan is manipulative and she only started to show it at the end. With her grandfather’s she took a week off, in essential, letting Hunter sit for awhile and start pining for. When she returned, I think she played off the kiss with Sydney, because she knew she had her man roped up, as did the rest of the women. Sydney would have been the better choice, but I am sure Sydney had people lining up on her doorstep after the final show aired. Landon made a right choice too. I think Ashely R will really try to make it work with him. I think not seeing a date with Ashley L child was probably the signal that he was not going to choose her. Allen mad his choice based on love and I think everything will probably work out in the end. The good family vibes from Khelsi date was obvious. Rebecca knew the farm life better, but I think Allen not figuring out or talking about transferring her business to TN was a sign that she was not going to be picked. Ryan made a lot of bad choices throughout the show. He kept the wrong people, because he was seemingly more interested in kissing everyone than finding out if they wanted the farm life. His Mom told him Sarah H was the choice, but he didn’t seem to then follow up with the tough questions to her to see if she really wanted to move. I also got the feeling that Sara V knew she was not going to be the pick in the final conversation with Ryan. He never really explored Porsche at all and Lily just left on her accord, which is basically what Sarah H did. Haley will never say yes, she was hurt to badly by him.

Yeah you’re right, it was so quick and I don’t feel like they even know these women. Not sure they have enough for a reunion, heck, the finale was rather light.

Can’t wait to see the interview with Farmer Ryan, but don’t want to see him return for season 2 unless he has grown and changed a lot and can get more serious. The entire time to me he was the only Farmer who really seemed like he just wanted to be on TV.
I was glad you guys discussed how Farmer Hunter made bad choices and chose 2 women who wouldn’t pick him because I completely agree.
I’m devastated for Ashley R but hope Farmer Landon is happy. I feel like he lead her on big time, but that’s a risk of going on the show I suppose. Still felt yucky.
I think Farmer Allen had the most chemistry with Cassidy Jo and it seemed like she made him nervous in a good way, I think he made a mistake by letting her go. I don’t know how I feel about him and Khelsi but wishing them all the best.
I was really thinking Landon was going to choose Ashley R, but I guess he saw something else in Ashley L.

So disappointed with this US version. There are several seasons of the Aussie series on Hulu which I had watched first and enjoyed much more. The Aussie version had more cliff hangers, more personalities and connections (and women really prepared to move and live where the farms are). I will be surprised if they do a second season here. It was a snooze fest for me… 👎
Supposedly they have confirmed a second season. This was very anticlimactic, so hopefully they’ll make some changes for season 2. Sounds like they need to make it more like the Aussie version.
@@TheGedunk - you guys should check out the episodes available now of the Aussie version. SO MUCH BETTER (and different format in some ways). There was much more actual farm work on their seasons too which is funny to watch as women try to catch pigs, etc. The US version didn't really focus much on the farms...

@@TheGedunk My guess it is cultural. The Australians I have had as friends and colleagues are much more direct than Americans in general. The farmers in the Australian version are like that too. The don’t walk on eggshells with people like the American farmers did.
You are absolutely right in your take on the Australian version. A better show and formula for this type of show. There is no point to another American version, if this is what we are going to get again. I would rather Fox show the Australian version here in the US than see another bland US version.

In Hunter’s heart he picked the right one. And you are judging Meghan based on a few snippets that the producers wanted you to see. Totally UNFAIR!
Oh and you praised Sydney but who broken the story about Allen and Kelsie. Who is manipulative now?

Heidi, we appreciate your comments. As for ours, mine particularly, I just call it as I see it based on what the producers show us. Like you said, we only get to see what they want us to and that’s what we comment on.

This was nothing but a Megan bashing session from ya'll. Both girls had issues equally!
We talked about a lot more than Megan. Only bashed her as appropriate when we talked about Hunter. I have to disagree about both girls having equal issues, but yeah they both had circumstances that would make it difficult for a relationship to work for the long-term.
They were a little hard on Meghan. I hope Meghan and Hunter prove them wrong, especially since they are allegedly the only two together.
