She's always been the underrated vocalist, but you can hear in the ease of her performances that she just GETS music. Her runs make sense, her little vocal flairs are stunning and the versatility is unmatched. The only thing that I personally don't think I'd previously seen from her was how effortlessly she went from a belt to soft melody without missing a beat in the Norah Jones number. It was impeccable. I'm so glad this show, in its bizzare format, was able to reintroduce Michelle as the vocalist she is, without any preconceived notions people had of her

I always knew she was a great singer but I think the constant criticism and negative comments or comparison to Kelly and Beyoncé’ gave her confidence a blow and this platform is what she needed to showcase and remind herself(and the haters) that she is superstar in her own right! I’m proud she was able to showcase her range and versatility! I always knew she was a great singer but I think the constant criticism and negative comments or comparison to Kelly and Beyoncé’ gave her confidence a blow and this platform is what she needed to showcase and remind herself(and the haters) that she is superstar in her own right! She did an amazing job and is so beautiful!

I love how she went even harder unmasked. I just don’t know how she was eliminated after that performance. She literally did not miss any notes the entire season. Every high and low perfect. Every run precise and perfectly executed. All her belts were powerful with no pitchy moments nor did she climb or slide into anything. Everything was just a direct attack. She should’ve won that season.
