James was sort of a villain when it comes to the second season, he was extremely narcissistic and the way how he initially wanted to make a PR stunt with Aiden because m/m relationships (they straight out mentioned Tom and Jake) generated a lot of attention, and being noticed is a James' significant character trait until he had developed things for Aiden. He was also pretty antagonistic to Karol (betrayal in the second episode) and how rude he was to Rosa Maria

Well, that's true but at the of the second season in episodes 12 and 13, Rosa Maria picks James to stop Riya to win the one million dollars
