Honestly I am thankful for the seats not being a stow n' go, feedback from my family has said that the seats in the middle and back is very comfortable!

@@BrantfordKia Well it's still true, even two years later. I miss my 2016 Sedona some moron totalled by running into me. Looking at a used 2021.
Your videos sold me on a Sedona. I've had my 2020 LX+ for 2 weeks and really like it. Inventory in Ontario seems to be low right now, though. I would have preferred an SX but couldn't get it in black (or so I was told at the time).

@@1stfrompuertorico568 Thanks. I used to do these videos before live streaming. When Covid hit, we were short staffed, and the live streaming became a little easier to get content out. We're now getting back to this type of video while still doing livestreams.
@@BrantfordKia Will you do soon a video on the K5 which we call it the new K9(canine)? I don't know why Kia changed their Optima to have this new letters and numbers in their vehicles like Benz does. They should stick with their unique names which represent better model and brand.
I remember when my grandfather had his blue 1970 Chevrolet C10 truck and later purchased too his 1972 Chevrolet Blazer K5 which had the same front as his truck. Very different K5 names for very different vehicles. My grandfather died of 98 years old on 2018 and his beloved Chevrolet C10 truck is still running and one of my cousins still has it. He sold his Blazer K5 on the 90's and he had a white Nova and later a light blue metallic 1980 Datsun wagon, later a charcoal gray Nissan Sentra until he died. One of the great grandchildren has it now so he uses it for the university and go to his part time job. All his vehicles looked like new since he was very meticulous(now is called detailers) and I helped him with that every two weeks. I work as a Senior Programmer Analyst which is my daily regular job and do Car Detailing as a side job.

Very Important question: Since the passenger seats flip up, with no stow n go, can the seat be somehow unbolted/removed from the frame of the Sedona? Before I purchase, I'd like to plan on making the sedona a minivan camper? Please advise Peter. Thank you
Great question. The seats can be removed with tools, but I've never done it, so I'm not the expert on doing that personally. If you were to do that, I would just double check with your local Kia service department to make sure that you torque the bolts back to factory spec when you re-install the seats. Rumour is the 2022 Sedona (which should be introduced within the next month or two) will be able to fit a 4' x 8' piece of plywood, so we'll see if it's got a different design.
Back in like 2015 or earlier, I went to the auto show in LA and my parents test drove a Sedona, the best one and we fell in love with it, especially me cuz the passenger seats r incredible. It’s hella expensive tho, but worth it. It’s like my dream car

The way those 2nd row seats fold to give you more cargo room is something that Kia should've kept with the Carnival. Makes getting to the 3rd a lot easier.

I had a Kia Sedona 2012... Unfortunately, I don't have it anymore... The best overall vehicle I've ever owned! I hope to get another, as soon as I'm able....

@@BrantfordKia oh yeah...the Kia Carnival (your Sedona) here in Australia are a best seller. We do get the short end of the stick with the features list and Our base model starts at 40k AUD which isn't cheap (about 37K CAD). We do get a 2.2L Diesel or V6 Petrol to choose from but that's pretty much it.
@@rishimehta1967 The diesel is something that was planned to come to Canada on the 2019 Sorento, but they ditched those plans before it actually arrived. We have employees here who drove diesel Kia products when travelling and they loved the fuel efficiency.
We love our 2018 Sedona EX...purchased over Honda Odyssey because Sedona has much more front passenger legroom.😉👍

When you do the carnival talk about the seat and the small steering wheel. Driver seat seem very thin. I’m going to look harder at a Sedona.
I disagree. The new Carnival has fantastic seats. It's an improvement on this van in almost every way.
Why doesn't 2nd row seats have arm rests in interior side of the seats? 2nd row seat on driver side for example is missing arm rest on right hand side..
Great question. When you fold down the centre seat, it becomes an armrest with cupholders for the centre row.

What is the warranty on these 2021 vehicles. I can only safely afford $300.00 monthly payments. Can I still get this vehicle? If your price is better than a dealer here in B.C. can you ship the van here? I wish I could stop by your dealership for more in depth hands on. Great & honest video.
I appreciate your offer! We have shipped vehicles to B.C. before, but we usually only ship unique vehicles like Used Tesla's out that far. I don't expect that we'll be able to beat a local dealer's price once you factor in the cost of shipping.
After seeing the Carnival interior color choices (appalling) I am definitely only interested in a 2021 Sedona ~ which is a name I appreciate tremendously more also. I suppose the Carnival colors & name will appeal to children and teens, maybe some people in 20's. Definitely no option for something with a bit more classic sophistication. Thank you for some better color options on exterior. Black, gray, white pretty mono pallet.
Interesting. I know that the Carnival comes with a few colours that are a little more polarizing (but I like them) but I haven't heard of someone unable to find a colour that they like, but able to find a Sedona that they like. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
To be honest. I have driven a Kia Sedona and Crysler Pacifica both many times. And my family has never said anything different about the comfort. I know people think of the grand Caravan the minute they think of Stow n Go. Mechanically the Pacifica has given me less trouble than the Sedona. But I must agree that the driver cockpit in the Sedona is much sexier than the Pacifica.
The advantage with the Pacifica is that it has ridiculous amount of storage capacity with and without passengers.
I'll have to get a Pacifica and Sedona side by side in a comparison test to show the differences in comfort. You're correct, each van has its advantages.

Also, do you know if they are going to offer the Hi Limo version of the Carnival? I like the curtains, big TV, heated and cooled cup holders and higher roof. I wonder if we can just add the options of heat controlled cup holders and curtains? ;)

Well, I definitely got screwed on my 2021 Kia Sedona Ex. My van definitely doesn't have the auto tailgate, the quiet mode, folding mirror, the garage opener on the mirror, heated sterring wheel or even the power passenger seat.
My 2018 Kia Sorento Ex had all the bells & whistle features. Like power auto window on all the window, lane changer ect. My van has none of that. I really hate it. I wish I asked those questions when I got the van cause if I knew that the van Ex didn't have those features I would've held on to my Sorento until the Carnival came. Very very disappointed in the van. On top of that my 2018 Kia Sorento EX had USB & adapter plug through out my car. My 2021 Kia Sedona EX doesn't have plugs in the second row & it makes it difficult for road trips

@@abc1099a We have no release date for the next generation Stinger, which means that the Sedona will come first and the Stinger will likely roll in with the 2022 models nearing the end of 2021. It's possible that it will come sooner, but because we have no information right now.

No stow and go killed it for me, I want to be able to use it as cargo or for camping!!
Fingers crossed the re-design will have the rear sliding door tracks hidden and all wheel drive.
The pictures of that model are online, and I wouldn't expect either of those things...
Is 360 camera still an option on these in Canada?
Not for these 2021 models, but they've already stopped producing the 2021 Kia Sedona, and the all-new 2022 model is expected to launch in the Spring of 2021. I expect that vehicle to have a LOT of features on higher trims, so I'd be shocked if it didn't have the 360 camera system.

@@OfViseAndMen We actually have the official documents on the next minivan. I did a video where I walk through those documents. The first section of the video deals with the new minivan, and the last part deals with an updated Kia Stinger. For a family of 8, the no stow and go argument makes sense, otherwise it's just not as convenient.

Yeah. The Sorento 4 cylinder Turbo engine is plenty powerful enough, but what you say may be the exact reason that it comes with a V6

@@michaellyons3643 We can't get a Sedona anymore, so don't expect to see any better programs than right now. If you can find the car, and you want it, you should buy it. We expect the Sedona's replacement to be here this month. It's called the Carnival.

In Canada, this is the 2021 Kia Sedona. The 2022 Kia Carnival is expected to arrive at dealerships in the coming weeks. Not a click-bait title at all, a factual title describing the video, and the vehicle in it.

We will receive the updated 2022 Kia Sedona in the Spring of 2021.
But the Asian one cost about 48,000 it has a lot features but your paying for it.
It's touted as a limo. Can seat up to 11 pax. Expensive as well.

Unfortunately, you are incorrect. I film these videos in Canada, and in our local market, this is a 2021 Kia Sedona. We are expecting the all new model to arrive in the Spring of 2021, and that will be called the 2022 model.
