The ghost of Baron James of the Microtransaction just saved Sorina by critically injuring her so that the Albion grunt couldn't shoot her, he's a hero! Next the ghost of Anne will come to someone's rescue too!
know you might miss this Dan, but the reason you probably like the driving for this so much, is the engine originally started as an engine for the next Driver game, but that was scrapped and that dev was pushed to watch dogs, all 3 watch dogs have this style of driving tweaked some in each, and it was originally for driver
spoilers for the Larson choice thing in the episode: if anyone's wondering, choosing to upload Larson instead doesn't have any impact on the story, apparently. i haven't done it for myself, but i've looked for it on youtube, and from what i can gather, Nowt just becomes a little more pissed at you instead of thanking you, but all the 404 missions and everything is still there. except the 404 missions give better rewards if you kill her, i think.
Love Nowt. I know its London-based, but I hope there are a few operative potentials roaming the map with Northern accents around. Would likely recruit every one I come across regardless of skillset xD
So she brain uploaded her mum but then proceeded to essentially lobotomise the digital mum until wasn't even the same person anymore, just a glorified Siri/Alexa. Also Dan didn't check the other cryo tubes to see who they were. EDIT: Nevermind.
That was sickening. The whole neural upload thing is normally so cool to me but the idea of altering the upload to such an extent that is no longer the person and is just"software" makes me want to yak. Check out the show Upload on primeur you want more like this but more palatable.
@@bend911games i assume they recorded voice lines with a variety of voice actors, and randomise them based on the other randomised facts like age, gender and stuff like that. I don’t think randomising voiced would sound that good.
@@Sgt.Orange yeah what he did was run into a dead end area, broke line of sight, sat where they couldn't see him, cloaked, kept sat in the same area they couldn't see him for the entire duration of the cloak then wondered why they investigated the place they last saw him enter! If he'd used the ability to walk slowly while having longer cloak he could have made it to the second dead end during the cloak and hid in a place they couldn't see him while also not being in the place they last saw him :P
On the face of it, it seems like a huge deal, kill her or upload. But after the mission concludes she gets shut down either way and Nowt gives you 404 contracts so it makes literally no difference
@@DOYLIE189 Oh, not like that! The devs don't seem to have done even a basic google search about any of the tech in the game - which is a bit upsetting since the whole story is based around said tech.
The way they depict AI can't be wrong if we don't even have an AI remotely comparable to the AIs in game. Just flat out calling it wrong doesn't make any sense. It's like calling a smart phone wrong, just because the only telephone you've seen is from the eighteen hundreds.
I wouldn't say it's necessarily "wrong", just different. Given that this game is set at least a few years in the future, and dealing with technology that doesn't exist yet, that makes it technically sci-fi. The "fi" part is that AI technology developed in such a way as to make what is depicted in the game possible.
@@JeffGarbanzo That's fair. My gripe was that the way Larson reprogrammed the AI implies that it's hard-coded, which is something very outdated by even current tech (though I guess if the AI can't learn, her approach might work?). It would be like calling a futuristic phone wrong because it still uses landline. It's possible, but just strange for something so advanced to use old methods.

As much as I disliked the driving in 1 I must say that 2 and 3 have really improved.
we might need a "what was that just now" counter

Harriet is now cosplaying as Alex from Totally Spies!
dan 24fps is for cinema, television in the uk is 50 fps and interlaced
harriet turns into phil wang's taskmaster setup
That's genius, didn't think of that, 10 times better than Kill Bill.

Well there's definitely not any Scottish people
hes uploading these like their nothing damn. I JUST WATCHED PART 9
Matt has 1Gbps broadband (download and upload). So it's probably not that hard for him.
Thats because hes streaming it daily and then splitting the 4 hour streams into 2 parts

"in the arms of an Anne-gel" is the funniest thing
I can't help but think TB would have loved this game.
For anyone curious: Jared thanks you for digging.
I noticed that too! I haven't a scooby what it means though.
Is that the binary?
@@aceman0000099 Yep! I translated it, Fun little Easter Egg :D

So true
I'm just as tense even though I didn't watch it live

do yall know who voices james. he sounds so familiar
No one knows, it's a computer randomising the voices for the characters that randomly generate

"Anne was stuck on a long empty place and got blatted!" Oh if only you had a way to go invisible and slowly move a long distance ;)
Did you not see her death? He used cloak multiple times and the enemies just waited where she was hiding.

How?Its show how corrupt the human mind can make them
