@@JR01015from this seasons it's not been an issue however I agree it's a huge concern but Pep has to stop messing around and gets Foden back in the team
we will see another Pep masterclass and we will see the heart of this team Phil/Kev/Bernardo/Gundo/Stones rise to the occasion. Rodri’s been telling us that this has been coming for months, and the Man City staff didn’t bloody listen. Can we take a day or two to appreciate how devastating this must be for him instead of bickering over his bloody replacement
Ridiculous comment , injuries can happen at any time . He'd played about 60 mins of football this season . So it's nothing to do with being knackered .
@@darrenwarby32Mate he had about 2 weeks break after playing about 50 million minutes last season. These things do happen but they’re far more likely when you put ridiculous amounts of strain on your body
Go get Wharton or Kimmich in January but Rodri will be back but this brings up the issue ppl mentioned during the summer what happens if Rodri get hurts City are gunna need to find a substitute and eventual replacement
Did I miss the clubs statement? I mean … speaking as a MD … it’s the day after so you normally wouldn’t do an MRI. The news broke pretty early and there is the small issue of privacy. Basically Rodri would have to have had his MRI first thing in the morning. I am going to go out on a limb and say this is made up. It is a very common football injury so it’s a high percentage guess but still a guess.
there's no direct replacement to Rodri, Pep will have to think really hard to modify his tactics again big time. We have Kova, Lewis, Nunes, or even Gundo who can filled the role but not with same skillset and vision as Rodri, this is huge blow. I know Pep will do something, but it will require him to do various trial and error along this season, good thing that we started the season kinda well compared to last season even without Rodri on those games. Uhh, wouldn't be easy tho. Arsenal...you're done "great mission" success on this one, you must be enjoyed this a lot. Yeah, we need to keep moving
Genuinely gutted. I know we have kova and Ilkay. Kova has been playing well since the start of the season while Rodri was coming back to the squad post euros. Also good for maybe for Rico to slide in or Nico Riley to get some minutes in FA/EFL cup games !
Fernandinho and kdb were out for majority of 18/19 we still got 98 points, Aguero was out for the 20/22 season still won the league people forget that we still have pep Guardiola the best manager in the history of football he will adapt the team. We may not be as good as we are with rodri but that doesn't mean we'll suddenly turn into man United
With rodri I saw this being a special season near 100 points again, the signing of savio and return or Gundogan felt big. As a result it will be a tight title race as opposed to running away with it which I think would have happened had Rodri stayed fit
Surely City will immediately start looking in Europe and South America for a very good player in Rodri's position to buy this winter. Like Zubimendi or Tchouameni, for example.
It really is heartbreaking. The stats do tell a 74% win rate when Rodri is in the team. and when he’s not playing it’s slightly lower. Gonna be a huge miss but hope he’s back fitter and stronger next year probably in June or July.
new hero's is a great term to use. Winning the league without Rodri will prove how good we are. Unfortunately i think it means more minutes for Kyle Walker as Rico will be starting a lot more now due to this injury
Gutting tbh. Massive blow for sure, Rodri is our most inflectional player and will be missed. But in saying that I have full faith in either a Kova or Gundogen stepping up.
This game feel like a loss We are finished without Rodri Against low block Kovacic is so bad (can’t shoot, can’t pass more than 15 meters, don’t use his left foot, doesn’t have the playmaker mindset of Rodri)
ARSENAL knew what they were doing attacking Rodri snd putting him out. They will complain like babies if the game is not going there way to win. I do hope they get nothing yet again. They are a poor side when the play tactics like they are, pure rubbish ARSENAL.
Also we shouldn't forget that 3 seconds after the opening kickoff Havertz ran straight at Rodri. Arsenal had an established game plan to force Rodri out of the game, an absolute disgrace to the game.

If this is the case then I am fuming. Rodri has asked for some support in how many games he plays for two seasons now.
