Carnival Luminosa Cabin Tour - A Look Around Balcony Cabin 7258 on Deck 7 of the Carnival Luminosa

- This was our second cruise on the Carnival Luminosa. We opted for a balcony cabin again, this time on Deck 7.
Usually our cabin on the Luminosa is 'good to go' but there were a couple of things that we wanted changing and a couple of issues with this one so be sure to watch all the way through and our follow up review video.

Hi Rob and Ali, thank you both so much for your informative and comprehensive cabin tours. Also, thank you, Rob, for answering my question regarding checking shower pressure. It is so important for so many reasons to me.
Can you also advise if the Carnival Luminosa shower heads can be turned to select different pressures? When you asked Ali to turn the shower on in one of your other Luminosa cabin tours, she didn't show if the pressure can be changed. I only ask that because on this video of you both on the Luminosa, Ali took the shower rose out of its cradle, it looked like there were different configurations of water outlet holes looking to me like one can change the pressure settings to suite different preferences...ie; soft fall, massage etc. Also, I was watching another Luminosa cabin Q&A with another TH-camr and they stated that they could hear the people in the next cabin talking. They could hear everything going on next door😳. Did you both find this on the Luminosa? We have booked for the Rock The Boat tour in 2025 on the Luminosa and I am really concerned that I will not get any sleep because of neighbouring cabin noise. I have never found any problem with neighbouring cabin noise on any of the other ships we've sailed on....Royal Caribbean, P&O etc. This will be our first time on Carnival. I’m so intrigued by this ship - looks like a good sized room, and that balcony is awesome! I’ve been on a few ships recently where the chair hardly fits out there, so this is excellent!

We had the same issue with shower flooding the bathroom it was due to a blocked drain had it fixed and that was on floor 7 too. That was on our trip in February 23 to South Pacific for 13 days. Hope it doesnt happen again lol . Love your videos too 🥰
Ali what's the best cabin to get when you get sea sick on the luminous.also what do you take to stop the nausea.i have been told ginger lollies help

Great video. I’ve been looking forward to this series to hear your opinion of Carnival Luminosa, compared to your last cruise with them.
After watching your previous cruise with them, they were crossed off my sisters list as she loves her coffee’s and they don’t include coffee in their drink packages. Mind you, even if they did, I have to admit, even on land Java Blue isn’t very nice.
Hi Jason. They still aren't including coffees and, for the life of us, we can't understand why. Every other cruise line does on their top drinks package and some of them are cheaper than Carnival's.
@@robandalicruisetravel Hello again. It’s astounding. I really don’t understand their logic for not including specialty coffees and teas in any of their packages. It’s definitely a deal breaker for my sister.

Were you able to get a table for your room?
Hi Cindy. Yes we were. The cabin steward was able to find one from somewhere, probably an empty cabin.
There is a table on the balcony and it looks quite portable.

It's a former costa ship, I'm surprised that they changed nothing there inside the cabin😮
Hi Aya. There was very little time to do anything during the hand-over. They did remove some of the Costa stuff but things like the 'C' on the stools still remain. It has retained a lot of the Italian charm but you are right it is still very identifiable as a Costa ship at the moment.
