Dude I genuinely love your videos. I'm a fitter/welder by trade and I love seeing some fab shop stuff not just pipeline stuff. Keep it up you've earned yourself a sub from me.
hi ! i see your video i leave in france There is a lot of work in pipeline welder ..you are very good pipeline welder thanks for tour vidéos and the sharing 😉😉👍👍
love watching other professionals at work. im sure you know this, but on those threadolets screw something a couple threads in so you dont get spatter on the threads. lookin great tho!!
Been watching your videos revahtly really enjoying them bought my self a cheap arse welder as wanna learn but think I should waited and got s better one So do welders get paid buy how many items they have welded or use on a day rate
Still plenty of Arc used in fab shops here in the UK (for class 1 work anyway). Mig has replaced Nu5 or Fleet roots for a lot of low pressure work, as its so much faster. But high spec is still Tig rooted, or rooted with fleets. Some of the work we've done recently, going by the procedure we had to root with Filarc 56S and fill and cap with 78S!! Proper old school lol. First time run a lowHy root for ages lol

As long as the other flange has the same bolt pattern, it will line up. U will be able to bolt it all the way up or unbolt it and spin it around and all the holes will still line up.
How many do you make in a day? How much do you charge for an hour? Wouldn't it be convenient to just weld? Why would you be so dangerous in a factory alone? Do you have a reason to work?
No reason it wouldnt👍 Wouldnt be quite as high quality as a full Tig or Tig/LowHy weld, but still perfectly within what is needed. The one huge bonus with STT/RMD/CMT root function (depending on manufacturer as they all have different names for it but is the same thing) and Pulse for filling and capping is the speed factor
@@andrewfuentes2887 doesn't matter?? It does matter when you're working to any sort of standard😄 And "see more damage in the field"? When youve got people installing it that dont give a monkeys maybe. But when a job is done properly, machine faces on flanges and the gaskets between the flanges will be in "as new" condition as everything is bolted and torqued up if a job is done properly by skilled tradesmen👍
So I was just curious your welding with short circuit for the root I’ve watched a few of your videos how do you get it to fuse properly without shooting whiskers or lack of fusion is it from the spray transfer that gets it to fuse properly for the root? Since the puddle is so liquid just out of curiosity cuz I just got done with short circuit pipe and the instructor said to do a 1/8 gap but I did a 3/32 gap I know that it has a chance to get lack of fusion which I did at one point but there wasn’t any straight edge so he let me cut and bend it and it did pass
Love your channel and content dude but have to say some of your welding terminology and techniques are incorrect. Hump?! You mean convex. Your torch angles are extreme and running 250amps plus in the PG position on those caps with that torch angle surely don't conform to any WPS or pass any procedure tests. Perhaps the company you work for don't have much quality control/WPS's/procedures... I'm intrigued to know.

Enjoy all your videos but I genuinely enjoy the videos with the music selections the most. WELD ON Calvin.
Welding is so different in the uk than it is in America I wish you could come to my shop & see how different

Interesting to see how they do it outside the US. Nice work.
I really respect that you even consider safety that’s beyond uncommon in this field sometimes

Nice work, thanks for the lesson professor
I love these videos. I'm going to get a helmet like you have. My current one is too dark to see the arc well when I'm using my powertig.
you will love the 3M 9100, i have one, and it is the best.
Yours is one of those cheap Chinese versions?
Thanks fella, love it! 🙌🔥

Or shift your spool closer but I see four stands there, just quarter your spool length in total each end and split the distance center of extention.
Do you think you could get a hold of a thermal cam, so we can see how cold/hot things are before, during and right after you weld?

No disrespect bro nut those Fronious machines can turn blind pipe fitter into.a welder they are awesome
I fully agree dude, i wonder sometimes how much is it me or the machine
Did you pulse soft your cap or cover pass it spunded like it was ?
Do you use 1/16 solid wire on bigger pipe
Please make a video for design which have to follow for construction
Please send link where you buy set ceramic cup fupa? Please
Well done mate fantastic video as normal great information and fantastic shots likes the layout 👍👍from me look after that back please🙏🏻
Hey buddy howcome you're not using your new speedglas? Awesome welding man.
How do you make sure the bolt holes line up with the pipe this joins to?
As long as the other flange has the same bolt pattern, it will line up. U will be able to bolt it all the way up or unbolt it and spin it around and all the holes will still line up.

Bit personal isnt it?😖

Good job! but why not use the fourth stand?
Great work. What's up with X- Ray on your runs?
Do you think you will passed a X-Ray test?

Also can you you tell me the name of the music your using.
Mind those flange faces on the floor bud! 🙂👍
Another cracking vid though 👌
The flange faces see more damage in the field than a concrete floor so it doesn’t matter

Do you ever use tig?
very nice. How long did it take to build it؟
@MPM Welding no how much time do you make it ? really time
This pipe took around 6hrs to make
@@ARCONEWELDING thank you bro
Any reason you don't use centering head to find center on your pipe for all your couplings?
After really looking around your area, could it be possible, to rearrange your area for better fitting capabilities and safer workmanship?
Does the g501 not have a face seal like the 9100fx?
Can you pass xray B31 code with this welding
Probably not, the process done properly you can but not the way i did it

That root sounds a bit cold
Sir....I have skill for wood working, wood carving and specially metalwelding.... Are you hiring helper?
What are the pipes for?
They usually carry chilled water around chillers
I'm not sure that the weld should pull so on that side it would be better if you welded with the gun to stand upright
