I am so proud of my Peruvian team, I can’t believe we played such a match with Türkiye. This is the first time in years that I saw our lost fighting spirit no matter how matter how great the opponent is. Arriba Peru.
Looking at the comments, some Turkish fans are not happy to lose one set whereas some Turkish team haters (I really don't know why) are cheering up that Turkey lost a set. I guess that is how you become a top team, your fans cannot tolerate a loss of a set and your opponents are consoling themselves with that just one set loss in a winning game. Congrats Turkey, way to go! And well done Peru, great try and great performance!
Agreed. And the saddest part is our people do it and find an excuse like 'i can critic'. But they not being able to distinguish between constructive and destructive criticism. We as a Turk have problem of dissatisfaction with anything, unfortunately.
When Ebrar first joined the team, some people in our country against it but now they want Ebrar so bad. And not only for Ebrar, for every new players. Same thing happening to İlkin, Aslı, Kübra. I am so happy that they got a chance to play. Yeah, they need more time to improve but these are great opportunities.
We need to support them and give them a hand. Seeing some Turks draging them down is heartbreaking.

@@TombyKK yeah but for Kubra, Aslı and İlkin is different. They were always sit in the bench. Even in their clubs. So, for me i can't be so hard on them, it is understandable to get rusty when your choach won't allow you to play in big tournements. And volleyball is psychological game too, for being strong in this you need to be part of it. No doubt, the atmosphere is different then club games.

Nuestro único error aquí fue que salimos con el filial. No tiene nada que ver con Melissa. No hables como si no hubiéramos ganado un juego sin Melissa. Te recomiendo que veas bien el voleibol.

I think there is a wrong information with Turkey's team. Everybody especially Turkey haters are very happy. No need to be happy haters. There were no main players the comminication was weak in the team and the result is 3-1, so when the play is hard Santarelli made Vargas play...In my oppinion if this match was played with main players the result would be 3-0. Eda, Gizem, Zehra, Vargas all the best players...but 3-1 is very good result without main players...so haters listen to me, when you are being happy, first get the information about the team ok...

Cuando un jugador pasa mucho tiempo sentado pierde el ritmo y cualquier persona que sepa de deportes lo entienden, lo malo de la humanidad es que siempre quiere ver lo malo en todo. Lo que muchos ven como prepotencia o subestimación yo veo a un entrenador que cuida a sus jugadoras no menosprecia al contrincante solo ve un espacio para que las chicas que no rotan mucho puedan resolver partidos completos. Even though we lost 3-1, they are happy to win 1 set as if they won. But the most interesting thing is that Brazilians are more happy than Peruvians. I think they forgot that we beat them 3 - 0 in VNL without Vargas :)

Ama herhalde dünyada Türkiye'ye karşı aşırı nefret olduğu için sanki Vargas geçmiş yıllarda da varmış gibi konuşuyorlar. Brezilya maçını Vargas olmadan kazandık diyoruz hala adamlar Vargas olmadığı zaman hiçsiniz diyor. Irkçılara gün doğdu bugün Santarelli yüzünden. Umarım aynı hatayı Arjantin'de yapmaz herhalde. Sırbistan bile her maçta ana kadro ile çıkıyor. Her maçlarında bakıyorum Tijana var. Onlar dinlenmiyorlar bile.

Peru was 1988 very good Team. Silver from Seoul.
This was a shocking performance and a shocking result. A game that most people thought would be 3-0 ended as 3-1 and almost reached 5 sets. The lack of concentration and defense was visible. Peru stuck together and fought hard to win that set. Türkiye was not playing their best volleyball and probably underestimated Peru a little. Hopefully we see a better team performance next match 💪🇹🇷
Yes, they underestimated them and Türkiye played mostly with substitute players.
It was a good combat also for the substitute players. Thanks Peru they made great defense and fought back. So this was a good game for the turkish side to see which players have to push more and where are things to get better. The coach has to keep the teamwork level high also with the substitutes who don't always start. Also for Evaluation
Ah shi... Here we go again. Türkiye plays with its reserve team and everyone talks about Türkiye’s poor performance. Then it plays with main team and becomes champion.
I don't see it as bad. Turkiye won 2 set with substitute players and Peru played a good defence. Win win
@@belizadaliActually, for players change; it wasn't because of Turkiye underestimated Peru, it was because of resting our players. They attended vnl and euro champ right before and played non-stop.
I think 'underestimated' part is a language barrier thing. I admid we (as an audiance) didn't expected, but right after match started we understand we were wrong and Peru got better. That's why every Turks in comment section shows their admiration towards Peru team and praise them. (they are not directly saying sorry but saying we were wrong about Peru)

A very normal result for a Turkish team with mostly its reserve players and also tired from the VNL and Eurovolley. Now they should use the main squad against Argentina to prepare for Brazil and Japan.
No hay enemigos pequeños, por muy campeones que sean no subestimes a nadies
but I heard karacurts and vargas names. so they did play and they play in the main team and are notorious for being top scorers if not the only once that are.

Aynen öyle biz 3,1 le yine 3 puan aldık, Brezilya 3,2 ile 2 puanda kaldı tam kadro oynadılar biz 4 yedekle oynadık
Allah'ın sopası yok ki, böyle gösteriyor yüceliğini... 😊 Santarelli tamam, iyi iş çıkardı da, 4. setteki değişikliği 2. sette 5-6 sayı evvel yapaydı, 3-0 yenerdik, 3-2 olursa ya diye de korkmamıza gerek kalmazdı, aynı şekilde 4. sette de geç yaptı değişikliği, onda da kaybedebilirdik. İlk ve üçüncü sette yedekler iyi iş çıkardı. Ama takıldıkları noktada azıcık destek lazım, çok da riske atmamalı maçları...

Ama 4. seti de tesadüfen aldı bence... mesele güvensizlik değil, antrenmanlarda çok yormuşlar belli ki oyuncuları, yoksa yedekler niye yorulsun ve Peru'yu yok sayıp bir sonraki maça hazırlamışlar gibi geldi bana... Zaten yedekler 2 set almış, aldıkları 2 set için tebrik edip, sadece 2. setin ortasında girse asıl kadrodan 3 kişi, sonra 3. sette yine yedeklere dönebilirdi güvendiğini göstermek istiyorsa... Benim demek istediğim o... Ebrar çok iyi oynadığı halde mutsuzdu, neden acaba? İlk defa öyle gördüm onu, ilk defa ona moral vermeye çalışan arkadaşlarıydı. Diferencia abismal entre Turquía y Perú en el Voley, así Perú le hizo el pare a Turquía, me emocioné con cada punto peruano, el cuarto set casi era de Perú, pero estuvo a la par en muchos momentos del partido, el entrenador Turco ya se puso a gritar. Vamos Perú, con esta nueva generación de chicas en la selección adulta podemos avanzar, ojalá al FPV se ponga a trabajar y ya no deje ir a más chicas, hay que trabajar. Me sorprende que Carlas Ortíz casi no jugo todo el partido, entraba por ratos, prácticamente el equipo peruano era la sub-23 a excepción de Karla Ortiz y Shiamara Almeida. Ojalá este equipo vaya a giras internacionales y preparen más a las chicas.

Considerando que Perú , es un eterno desface generacional desde los 90s lo hizo bien , ahí debería estar la generación de Angela Leiva como Colombia y Argentina pero están las sub 23 prácticamente , con cero apoyo y llegando al torneo el mismo día de juego lograron un partido con honor imagínense si hubiera una federación medianamente profesional.

Soy peruana asi que fue bueno que pusieran a sus suplentes contra nuestro equipo, el haber ganado un set pata ellas es muy reconfortante ya que estan viviendo momentos internos muy complicados.
