This show is GOATed for something no other Superman adaptation has done before: give Lex and Clark TRUE CLOSURE. The scene, like this series, was truly beautiful and I’m gonna miss it so much.
well this is what clark saw in his afterlife, we don't know what was true or not. we assume there was closure. funny thing is he didn't see his true mother and father or Johnathan or Martha kent or sam lane.

@@fixxxer2023 I do think that that scene was symbolizing Clark slowly becoming at peace, he may not have been able to forgive Lex while he was alive but he forgave in death he got closure

Not gonna lie, if I was to write a Spider-Man tv show showcasing Peter Parker's life from beginning to end, I would literally end it almost like this.
Not dying in the streets fighting a supervillain, not in the Spider-Man suit, but in his bed as Peter Parker, with loved ones surrounding him. Then as he dies, he awakens in afterlife and reunites with Uncle Ben, Aunt May, Gwen Stacy, and Harry Osborne, only for a voice to call out to him from behind: "Hey, Tiger."

One word we are all alive to witnessed this emotional and amazing ending that was never told before..

when Lois passed away, I cried. When Superman dies, I literally cried nonstop! I’m glad he didn’t remarried, he knew he won’t live forever, except to reunited with Lois someday. It was hard to watch him live life without Lois around. BEST Superman tv adaptation show ever!!

I was all ready to go for a walk....and then saw this, Now I have 32 minutes till then.
They COOKED with this finale. That epilogue was absolutely beautiful and it broke me. The people behind this show really UNDERSTOOD Superman. Tyler played it beautifully. What a finale!

I don't know. The Arrowverse was basically DC's version of Marvels Ironman - Endgame run. Just like Marvel after that, I don't think DC's going to be able to re-capture the magic of the consistent storyline they gave us over the past 12 years on the CW. If DC knew what they were doing, they would have used the Arrowverse actors in their movies (Like Grant as The Flash and not Ezra).
It's kind of weird how DC could never get their movies right, but nailed their TV shows, and the opposite for Marvel during the same time period, lol.

Idk about nailed, while superman was great, shows like the flash and arrow were REALLY rough in some parts. I’m still hopeful for the future
This episode absolutely crushed me BUT my only wish is that Tal-Ro should have been there to meet his great nieces and nephews or to say goodbye to his brother.

My opinion the saddest part was when doomsday remember who he is but what I thought was going to happen by watching it after he remembered who he is he helps Clark stop Luther then give him his heart but I'm fine with the way it ended I'm going to miss this show as same amount of The flash 🥲🥲🥲🥹🥹🥹😥😥

Probably his heart could've helped Clark, but taking into consideration they are opposites it could have depowered Clark permanently, since yellow sun weakened Bizzaro

Plot twist (Spoiler alert) :
Lex succeeded in killing Superman, it just took a very long time.
I loved the ending and how they ended the show. The only thing I would have added is one line at the end maybe at the wedding saying , we wouldn't be here if you didn't defeat brainiac so that we got closure there. Otherwise it was perfect.
I was liking this finale a lot until it did the 1 year time jump and (imo) kinda ruined it for me because from then on it was rushed until the ending… I’m now unfortunately disappointed with this conclusion.

i like the show but i feel they only killed clark/superman off to pave the way for the new superman movie. they also didnt touch on if the boys are still saving the world. other than that it was a really good series.

they wont, this was the arrowverse final, this is it for all of it. its now mostly going to be shows that tie in to the films , at least for the trinity
