Should have added a sin for "No no no, the CIA are good! Trust us!! It's just this splinter-cell that's bad! The CIA stands for Freedom and Democracy™!"
My biggest issue with this campaign was its lack of conspiracy and history. Act Man said the game felt more like a game set in the 90’s than actually being part of it and I couldn’t agree more. There were a lot of missed opportunities to include the Chechen War, Kosovo War, Operation Gothic Serpent, Y2K, and even events that would tie into 9/11. The other Black Ops games were special because it tied into history and had a theme of conspiracy and espionage (hence the Cold War setting in most of the games) excluding the third one.
They could tell a story in an overlooked part of modern war history. Instead, they trotted out another generic faceless PMC group and what must be the 4th or 5th game where we have to stop a nuke or a bioweapon. I miss when COD had balls.
115 is in there too in another level, both instrumental only. I believe another zombies song is used in the party level if you let Snakeskin boots play for too long but i cant remember it and im not redownloading the campaign Edit have a vague memory it might've been Cold hard Cash the EE song for Shadows
Bulgaria never left the Soviet Union since it was never a part of the Soviet Union. Unless you meant left the Eastern Block maybe, after the fall of the wall.

Dartigan…the fact you didn’t take a sin off for when the “115” track hit while fighting one of the bosses is criminal shame on you. That track is iconic and it activates neurons in our brains making us sing the song word for word.

So I think you had a misunderstanding somewhere, Harrow is not the leader of Pantheon, she is higher up than a grunt but not the boss. She was recruited by them using false evidence of her parents murder linking it to Adler. So there are many moments where she would most likely be in the dark as much as the Rogue team. Just because she can boss the grunts around, and is seemingly in charge of the chemical weapon plan doesn't mean she knows what the rest of Pantheon is doing.
You are right, but that does not really explain why she is helping Case and his team against Pantheon... Feels like another "Try too hard to hide the plot twist" thing
Great video, really enteraining but I think Harrow really ordered the team to avoid the Pantheon but Marshal refused leading to Harrow killing a few dozens of her members on the way out
I miss the days when COD campaigns built on themselves and were grounded in reality. Each game now, the main bad guy is gone by the end of the game and is never mentioned again. MW19, the Russians weren’t mentioned at all in MWII and MWIII. Almost nothing from CW besides characters return. It feels like they’re all in their own universe or something. Laaaaame
The thing is (not to defend but to point it out that it is a thing that's been going on) is that the "real" bad guys get dealt with in the post launch multiplayer "story" where they release trailers, snippets of info and map details for the new seasons that explain what happens with the bad guys and how they're dealt with
@ tbh I don’t keep up with multiplayer. I haven’t even played BO6, I just watch videos on newer games that I know I’m not gonna play like this one. But I’m just saying I hate how the campaigns don’t really connect, even in straight up sequel games (with a couple exceptions). Like og MW and og MW2, and CW to BO6, MW19 to MWII, all those just drop the antagonist from the previous game, they don’t even get hardly a mention (again, some slight exceptions like a couple throwaway dialogue lines). It’s bad story telling, no matter how good the visuals are and how good characters are (which I know you didn’t bring up, I’m just saying) lol

Treyarch is just not Treyarch anymore. From the campaign to the multiplayer and especially to the zombies, this game is a disaster on top of a disaster. I'd say it's disappointing, but there was no expectation to begin with, I'd lost hope and faith in Cod since Bo4 at least, shit had been a pit of no return ever since. RIP.
@anasbataineh zombies is okay but its not traditional zombies. Its been too "warzonified" with the UI, the armour, the loadouts etc. I miss simple waw - bo2 zombies.
1. Park is from the last Black Ops game and is MI6 and not SAS. 2. Case became an operative because he was trained to kill everything. 3. I'm shocked their wasn't asin for the palace or the casino where they could've grabbed a ton of money. 4. It's revealed that Adler was working on the Cradle his drugs were likely from that in this instance.
4. If you talk to Adler before the Separation Anxiety mission, he flat out says he used to be part of the CIA's MKULTRA brainwashing program. After the program was shut down, he kept a few vials of chemicals for himself
Corrections: SIN 44: You actually can use the rewards from the open world segment in the next mission, where they are pretty much mandatory for Veteran mode. SIN 68: The casino is run by the mafia and is a "truce zone" for the rival families, so it makes sense to expect one may be armed. SIN 101: Harrow joined the CIA to gain access to any possible files on her parents' murder that weren't public. Finding nothing, she figured it was just a cold case. Once the Pantheon gave her classified files beyond her pay grade, her new goal was to climb the ranks to gain accees to any top secret files which may exist.
7:11 why did he bring a sniper Rifle for this, he didn’t even change the scope, all he’s looking at is the wall especially since he keeps alternating between the backlight and the rifle
It’s a semi auto marksman rifle no longer than say a basic suppressed M4 for example. In close quarters, you don’t really need to aim down sights you can just make it work with point firing. It’s not perfect, but it certainly works. IRL your bullets don’t randomly spray out in a cone, your shots will hit where you point them. So you can just point the gun without aiming and make it work for close quarters if you lack something more fit for CQB.
Yeah i like zombies I'll give it that but campaign was not good and I've been playing nuketown since black ops, multiplayer is stale. Call of duty needs a zombies only game.
I am actually enjoying multiplayer way more than I thought I would, but i got to the "zombie" mission in the campaign and just turned it off. I want good war action in my war games, not a bunch of BS

Can’t wait for the trailers for the next 3 games over the next 3 years then we are really going to see how they are making the campaigns different or the same from each game.
The spy stuff in those games is basically magic. I would not have a big problem with that if those games did not try so hard to sell themselves as serious, gritty etc.

I have a friend who is a diehard treyarch fan who said this game is “absolute cinema” when I played that zombies mission I got so bored I almost fell asleep
That's the problem. It's too cinematic. Mw2 and waw had the cinematics in game. I wouldn't call that cinematics but the old call of dutys did it better. Just drop me in the action and proceed with the story from there. I don't need cutscenes.
Marshall planned to leave with Adler and Case inside a SWAT van , the same we can see them extract with in the middle of the road and in the begining of the mission, that's why they are dressed like operatives in the first place, granted they would had need one more uniform for Adler for this plan to work if they were planning to extract him uncuffed and armed. The reason the van don't show immediatly is because, quoting Sev "Cops are surrounding the building" but they seems to forget they are disguised as SWAT team member and have the vehicle to go along, and I'm not american but I think SWAT will have authority on simple policemen, they could simply have drive order them to let them through, extract Adler and go. But hey, game needed an epic cool exit so... The "lady in the british SAS" is Park from Cold War, and she's MI6, not SAS, so it wouldn't have matter if SAS accept women or not MI6 is like CIA in UK so if she wants to go with them they just shut up and obey. You can use the stuff you unlock like the stealth bomber strike in the next mission following the open world one, while you're attacking the palace, so the sin is half false here. If the turrets shoot is probably because while Case is hallucinating by seeing zombies, the zombies are actual Pantheon soldiers, as you can see some briefly switch into them, it's just that Case see them as zombies with the effect of the Cradle but since the experiment to turn him into a super soldier worked slightly on him he see them unarmed and easy to kill. the manequins on other end must be real hallucination, because no Pantheon soldiers would be childish enough to play with Case like that in a contaminated biolab nonetheless. Quick note here, I'm not saying all that too discredit the video or anything, I still like it and always watched everyother on any call of duty or other games I like. Just wanted to clarify some stuff without bad intention intented. Keep up the good wwork
I really don't understand these games having silent protagonists. I noticed something was weird back in Advanced Warfare when they got Troy Baker to voice the MC, but he never talked during gameplay; only in narration or in pre-rendered cutscenes. It was as if he was casted after all of the levels were completed and the devs wanted a big-name VA on the cast list. And now here, you play as a bunch of characters AND a silent protagonist. It feels like the game is trying to appeal to every narrative preference and it's just not working.
15:24 thats what I thought too. Like, Im all for women having the choice to be soldiers in real life, but there were not military women all over the place back then. Its like the Call of Duty universe is just stuck in an endless loop of the same wars with modern trends woven in. Edit: fixed a mistake made by the autocorrect.
Also, comparing CoD to The Simpsons sounds apt. The only thing interesting about the former anymore is Zombies and the only thing interesting about the latter anymore is Treehouse of Horror.
I wish I could agree with you on the first sin, the thing is that BO6 does have innovation to albeit they shouldn’t have gone the cosmetic route(can’t blame treyarch activision is fucking greedy) but other than that the game is fun especially with friends

For a sequel to Cold War and the 1980's missions from Black Ops 2, this campaign was kinda disappointing.
Yeah I noticed that after a while. They really dropped the ball with this one and I noticed a lot of people who had rose tinted glasses on when it came out are seeing its not very good.
You have to do indiana jones next. Everything Ive seen from that game looks so... odd
Would cod be better if each games was about a different protagonist going on a adventure or a call of duty similar to far cry 3 ?
Ok I need to know from 1 to 10 one being blackops 3 10 being blackops 1/2 where is this game?
