Hi sir for example after reaching salinity of 10ppt after adding salt the tds level reaching 8k-9k ppm which is normal for brackish water but not in biofloc and how to reduce the tds thank you 🙏
Initially FCO has to be given everyday for at least 2 weeks ..till you get Biofloc level of 20gm-30gm per liter ...and later on you need to measure the Biofloc level and add FCO time to time to maintain Biofloc level between..20ml to 30ml per litre...

The reason for disease is due to not following the proper BFT parameters... temperature,water pH, etc..as mentioned in Yoram Avnimeleh Biofloc Handbook .And of course you don't have to stress the fishes..stress is one of the biggest reason for disease .. Mainintaining BFT parameters is like prevention is better then cure...BFT is a process...of aquaculture..and we need to perfect it , to be successful in BFT..so that we don't get disease in tank...
@@floragreenaquafarms9179 Agreed.If disease comes in BFT then it's overall our mistake.And Vitamin C plays a vital role in minimising the stress as well as improve the immunity. Regards
