@Less Junk, More Journey it was great joy to host and share the time with you and family. As a family, we enjoyed having all the families together. welcome back to Kenya again and again. "Karibu Kenya hakuna matata" (welcome to Kenya there is no problem)
Awesome. Finally, a true experience of Africa, both the animals & the people. The lifestyle, the culture. Your Next visit, try Ledoba Bed and breakfast in Molalatau village, in eastern Botswana. They're all about culture.
Beautiful! I did not realize that they face many of the same struggles as my people (Native Americans) face in the United States. Hensley and JJ are so blessed to have the experiences they have had, and so beautifully documented for them!
What a blessing this was for them to get to see. Unfortunately, colonizers were everywhere Africa and definitely the American Indians. This video made me happy and tear up all at the same time. Thinking about it. God bless. 😔 I’m sorry God put everybody on the land they were supposed to be on to steal it was a crime and a sin.
Thank you for sharing this! I was in Uganda for 2 weeks and I have a heart for the people. How wonderful that you are teaching your children this culture, truly living a life LJ/MJ!
I know it's not funny but i laughed when the rhino guide gave a whole emotional story on how he was attacked by rhinos because of noise only for the safari driver to make a loud horn.
Words cannot express my excitement for you to be at Ol Pejeta and see Najin and Fatu. It is so important for people to learn about poaching and endangered animals, and of course, other cultures. I have only been to South Africa and not Kenya, but a piece of my heart is in Africa.
Such an amazing adventure for your family, but especially for the kids! Can you even imagine the memories you are making for them that they will carry their whole lives and pass the quest for adventure and journey on to their children?
Wow! What an amazing and humbling experience! I feel like I felt so many emotions! Laughing with y'all when you were visiting the lions, feeling the amazing feelings that I would think you would feel seeing your children experience this, tearing up when y'all were being welcomed into the village and they came over and took your daughters hand and took her to join them. Just amazing! Incredibly amazing! I'm so happy for your family that you're getting this experience. I really hope we're able to experience this one day. ❤
This experience has ignited a strong desire within me to return to my home country, Kenya. It stirs up emotions as it takes me back to the year 2018, when my wife and I celebrated our wedding and honeymoon in the same places you have visited. The beauty of those locations truly takes my breath away. If you ever have the opportunity, I highly recommend visiting Malindi. What impresses me the most is that you are not simply being tourists, but rather taking the time to truly understand and appreciate the local culture.
I feel so overwhelmed with appreciation for all that you've shared. Thank you so very much! I doubt I'll ever be able to make a trip to Africa but watching your videos has enabled me to take that virtual tour. This was filled with so much educational information on so many levels. I have shared this with my adult children and grandkids. Thank you again for this gift! Bless you and the people of Kenya and Africa ❤
He has risen!!! Happy Easter! I love Kenya so much. This video warms my heart so much. It's so amazing you give your kiddos these experiences and thank you for sharing it with all of us.
A beautiful adventure. I love the land, the animals and mostly the people you are getting to see and meet. Nate choking up about the “family” and “priorities back in America” rings so true in my heart. World travel and especially missions will change you forever. God bless.
What an amazing trip and we can’t thank you for sharing this experience. I learned so much for this video! It actually made me cry several times watching it. I will pray for all of Kenya and the beautiful animals that live there.
Jamba, loved the video. I was there in 2018 and saw the male and the two female white rhinos. The male died in March. Our tour also took us to the blind rhino, the graveyard and the equator sign. Love seeing Mt Kenya and all the animals. The Masi were beautiful.
Such an incredible journey that you are experiencing and we have been blessed to share. The smiles on the people's faces are so genuine and happy. Their hand-made jewellery is exquisite, and those rugs were so very beautiful. Not many people have the opportunity to visit with the Masai, and then to go on safari viewing exotic animals that we will only ever see in captivity. I hope they are so successful with the White Rhino surrogacy. The awe on your faces witnessing these different cultures says everything you're trying to convey. Thank you so much for sharing. Be well.
This makes me miss my home country Kenya so much. Sometimes it takes a different person to show you things you take for granted. Been in the US for over 10 years and made it home for my family but given the opportunity I’d go back in a heartbeat. I like the way you’re mixing tourist and local experiences
ok its midnight in Maryland and im sitting here bawling at what a beautiful experience you guys are getting and giving your two beautiful children .. so wish we could all in our world just get along and live peacefully and welcome everyone like they are doing .... what amazing things and experiences for Hensley and JJ .. when you saw the lions its as if that one male was looking in your soul ... Just beautiful ... that you as always for sharing ...
Thank you for sharing another amazing “safari” with us! I’ve fallen in love with the people as well, even without ever meeting them in person. The Maasai tribe is such an amazing group of people, and their beadwork and other handcrafted items are beautiful. Living vicariously through you guys, hoping someday to have an opportunity to have these kind of experiences in person as well.
Loved this leaving time for community to happen. Beautiful. The tree house restaurant was really neat! The food looked delicious. I did not realize there were such high mountains in Africa. Fun Safari! Cool that you could stand on the Equator.😮 What an interesting look into the people there. Thank you for taking us along with your family to experience the sights and sounds. - Michelle
Great video. I admire how they sing and dance so much as a community. It reminds me a bit of singing together at a campfire. I wish it was something we did more here in the states. ❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜🤎🖤🩶🤍
Incredible journey! You have to put a trip together so more of your fans can experience this type of hospitality and adventure. I know my family would be all in!
Wow, what a wonderful exciting informative experience. Thank you SO much for showing me what I would never have been able to see in my lifetime. You are truly appreciated for being so willing to share your incredible journey. Love your family.
Great information and inspiration. Now I know why Kalahari Resorts and Conventions, which they have one in many states including Texas, love and support natives by purchasing their art and other sponsorships'. Interesting read to learn about Kalahari family history. Thank you for sharing your journey, aka Safari with us.
Wow! Those rugs were beautifully made. Marissa your face said it all about the sugar Kane. lol!😂 What an awesome country to go visit these nice hard working people. What a nice experience for the kids. And for the whole family. Thank you for the adventure. And the journey. Hope you are home now and are having a great Easter.
Here in Southern Oregon there is a farm that has a Zebra out in their pasture with their cows! Not sure how or why they got it but it is fun to drive by and see it!
This trip was better then anything I have ever seen from Africa. Were you able to share with these African families how you live & travel as a family. Is Travis,s family an RV family too.
When I went to Kenya in 2013, on the way to and from our drive to where we went on a safari, giraffe crossed the road several times. It's clear you're not in America anymore!

I have a feeling Kenya has stolen Hensley's heart. She is going to have a hard time leaving and will dream of Kenya until she returns someday.
Beautiful! I did not realize that they face many of the same struggles as my people (Native Americans) face in the United States. Hensley and JJ are so blessed to have the experiences they have had, and so beautifully documented for them!

These people are amazing 🤩
I know it's not funny but i laughed when the rhino guide gave a whole emotional story on how he was attacked by rhinos because of noise only for the safari driver to make a loud horn.
It was alarming!
Thats was funny. I guess you understood him warning the driver not to blow the horn again

I am sure it is too late, but if you get a sunburn, you can make tea and put it on the sunburn. I know from much experience that it works. Good luck.
