Ironman Wisconsin 2023 - Double Dipping 70.3 & 140.6 - Behind the Scenes

Come with on my journey through setup, logistics, sign-in and racing both the Ironman 70.3 and Ironman 140.6 in Madison Wisconsin on September 9 and 10, 2023. See the race from my point of view, setting up and racing on back to back days.

I brought the camera to capture just what it takes in regards to gear and transitions, setup and sherpa's for 2 days of back to back racing. On course were my friends from home and many other incredible people, enjoying the struggle and triumph of completing one of the hardest single day events available.
16 people set out to complete both the races. A small group for sure, but most of us got to know each other, as Ironman put our transition area together. It was a blast seeing them out on the course, and cheering them on.

This is an amazing accomplishment. I just finished my first full at IMMD and can image doing a half the day before. Congratulations on truly being Iron!!

Nothing special, just need to register for both and Ironman figures the rest out.
