I had the same experience with the Drmtlgy. Way too pink and needs to have a more neutral tone to it. I will try the Elta MD now. Thanks for the review!
Great Review! This Elta MD one is the only sunscreen that hasn't broken me out (sensitive acne prone w/melasma) and blends in nicely since I am tan. I have tried so many and am so thankful for it, but I recently found out about this Drmtlgy one and am thinking about getting it. I might try a bottle and hope I have found a slightly cheaper version. Thanks!
@@jacidel Hello, I still haven't tried the Drmtlgy sunscreen. I probably will in the next few months, but I have quite a few back ups of the Elta Md one so I'm trying to be frugal and not try so many things at once. I've been trying a variety of prescription acne/melasma meds and am trying not to use too many things at once.
The UV clear pills on me so I’m wondering if the universal original one with niacinamide would also pill. It doesn’t seem to matter what skincare I use either. What skincare do you use underneath? I’ve heard the physical is more yellow, which is weird because it was pink on you. Do you ever use foundation on top?
I've been more or less using the same kinds of skincare for years, I did a video in August/September of 2021 so that's probably what I used when trying out these sunscreens! I never wore foundation just primer and concealer. Angie from Hot and Flashy frequently uses the EltaMD SPF44 underneath her makeup though!
I was just contemplating between these two sunscreens! I'm around NC37/40 and have dehydrated/sensitive acne prone skin. How would you compare the UV Elements to the Skinceuticals physical fusion?
I reviewed Skinceuticals Physical Fusion as well! It's a fluid, has a bit of a grey undertone but I find it helps correct redness well that way, stung my face as well and pilled like crazy when I used it in the winter.
Hi! How's the elta md elements compare to neostrata sheer physical sunscreen? I'm on my 3rd bottle of neostrata, I like that my sensitive skin accept it & not reacting bad, dewy healthy finish, comfortable to wear, it just that it can get oily on my Tzone after some time, eyeing on eltamd elements hoping it'll less oily. Would love to know since you also have the neostrata. Thank you
I haven't used Neostrata in maybe 4 years lol! But UV Elements is quite moisturizing and there's shimmer so I don't think oily skin types would like it. The UV Clear is usually the preferred one for oilier skin types.
I don't have rosacea so I can't really recommend one being more suitable. I personally like EltaMD UV Elements more because it did not sting my face on application!

@Andrea Nehl i actually ended up getting both the universal and physical drmtlgy sunscreens i like them!
Thank you for this thoughtful review
The Dermatology one looks shinier and lighter in color. Just with that is a pass for me. But it also stings? no. TY for the comparison
Love them both! Thank you for your review 😊
Can u recommend some neutral yellow undertone tinted sunscreens
Such a nice video! Neat and informative. Thank you so much!

Have you try there moisturizer/creme? Im currently using lora line but creme is $95 for 1oz
Which one of better for brown skin? Elta MD elements or uv clear tinted option? Thank you
I think the EltaMD UV Elements would be better
@@michxmash thank you for the response. I appreciate it.
Great review. I need an under $10 dupe for the Elta MD UV Elements & the Uv Clear tinted.
Oh I hear ya! The USD to CAD price conversion was shocking lol
See: "VLOG: Affordable EltaMD dupe I am loving! | Dr Dray" Dr Drsy is my go to when i need expert advice on products
I have rosacea prone acne prone combo skin, which do you think would work best??

Your skin looks better with the drmtlgy
Yessss that Violette shadow!
What your Fitzpatrick skin type
3-4! I also put it in the description 😊
You look much better without the eye shadow. Don't let the eye shadow covers your beautiful eyes.
Mind your business;) she’s lovely either way. And make up is fun
