How do you edit the pages you exported from figma to wordpress?
You edit them using Gutenberg, or Elementor?
Right now the best is directly either in your design tool, like Figma or Adobe XD.
The elements you select in the plugin are dynamic, so you can edit them directly inside WordPress (like the Header menu in the video).
For the rest right now the easiest is to update your designs. Our support for Gutenberg is getting better and better!

if you add animations to your Figma and then convert it to Wordpress, will the animations still work?
It's not giving me the "Step 2" option to select my header. It just turns the whole page into a design that I cannot edit on WordPress.

Hi Yotako! I’m having problems when trying to import my Figma design to Wordpress. When I get to the part where you select the elements in your design like the header, an error pops up for me that says “The Header Menu must be a child of the Header Element”. I have no idea what this means 😢

Edit your new WordPress theme is very easy:
1. Open your WordPress dashboard and click on Appearance.
2. Click on Editor
3. Click on the element you want to modify. WordPress will ask you if you want to edit the template. Click on Yes.

This won't work very well if you use custom fields, I would find this super annoying to be honest. A lot of back and forth trying to get elements to show up properly. What about Mobile, Tablet and smaller devices? What about if you use ACF Pro custom fields and dynamic data that the client updates in Wordpress? Perhaps this would work for basic sites but I don't see it being a very viable option on a more complex scale? Tell me if I'm wrong? I'm looking for something like this so I can design without limitations as a love of design this is exciting, but at the same time, I'm not going down a rabbit hole of misery trying to get everything to work right with dynamic data on Wordpress.

Most of our customers design in Figma and create themes at the end, doing last touches (mostly non design related) directly inside WordPress with the native WordPress block editor (no need to pay for expensive page builders). I love this a lot, but some of the components didn't come out well when converted to WordPress. The newsletter form and header menu are impossible to edit in WordPress. Can I retry if some components had issues during the conversion?

Our themes are native WordPress themes. Elementor does modify the way WordPress works and makes it slower.

Hi, pages and color palette are part of the design right inside Figma and our AI writes all the CSS for you automatically. You don't need to care about coding anymore! (Unless you really want to go and modify it which is always possible 🙂).

I used the template. It ois showing as individual pages and not a theme on Wordpress. @yotako
The theme is located inside the WordPress dashboard under the Appearance menu and Pages are located in the Pages menu as you may know.
If you see the Pages it means your theme is already there because you cannot have the pages without the theme :)

What does that mean? I can use the plug in for one website only? Or I can use it for one design export and cannot use it again for another time even in the same website?

Thanks @ThoughtAnalytica for your questions. Single Design is 29 per conversion from design to WordPress Theme. The theme is stored in your Yotako dashboard and you can download it as many times as you want and there is no restrictions on the number of websites you use it later.

Most of the prototype mode in Figma is working (navigations, etc.) and we are constantly adding more continuously.

Our themes are standard WordPress themes so any Editor compatible with them will work!
You can also edit them with the WordPress editor (Site Editor also known as Gutenberg).
