Dejour Russell is yet another victim of the burn-out phenomenon that is so common and never-ending among many schoolboys of successive generations. These schoolboys are overworked by their championship-chasing schools with limited time for proper rest and recovery! EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY, a subject studied by individuals pursuing tertiary qualifications in sport, explains the physiology of burn-out in sports training. The heart and muscles suffer permanent disability; and there is often a built-up of lactic acid that the body is unable to get rid of! So the athlete's career is over!
He was primarily a sprint hurdler at Champs and he was burnt out by what exactly? The things that a lot of you people say do not make any sense. And it’s extremely inconsistent … because a lot of persons with the burnt out rhetoric claim that athletes do too many events (which is not true at all), and here is someone ow saying that an athlete was burnt out, when that athlete primarily did one event. You see the problem there?
@Its_I_Ziggyman it's just incredible. The thing is we need to find someone to blame instead of taking accountability. This is what losers do. It's everybody fault but their own. So the man that did ONE event "burned out" but Taylor that did 3 events plus 2 relays didn't. Make it make sense! That's us in a nutshell!
@@Its_I_Ziggyman without also addressing his propensity to gain weight and the lack of discipline to keep it off. All of that rant sound intelligent though. LOL
@@aquearmstrong yes. And what it is too, I’ve noticed over the years, is that almost all of the persons who come with this rhetoric are usually very uninformed or poorly knowledgeable about the sport. If you ask them some basic track or Champs questions, they don’t know the answer.
@@speakthetruth5308When was that and what kind of injury did he have? Because, I don't recall him being injured. But even if he was, that alone still would not account for him now. Almost all athletes have injuries and varying niggles at all times.
Let me tell u what happen u see that set a Malabar boys them did too hype too cocky and think them a did big men already and made it if u notice only Seville out of all of them made it

💯 correct! Those schools burnt then out just to win a title not thinking about their future.
High School Coaches burn them out just to win titles.

Many of our promising athletes have been sacrificed on the altar of winning champs by their respective schools.
And he was sacrificed how exactly?

I did not remember Broadwell from Champs.
Such a shame, he was doing so well. To be honest if you didn't mentioned him, I wouldn't remember him.
