Ok wow you're amazing! I just stumbled On your channel while searching for begonia prop videos. I'm hooked! Your faithful subscriber reporting to duty🤩❤️💯
😍 all those Begonia babies! So pretty. I usually cut the leaf I'm propagating into pieces. I make sure there is vein on every piece. I use a plastic container with whatever substrate I have at hand 😆 fern fibre works well. I bury one cut edge in the substrate and put the lid on and forget about them. Never label them and now I don't want to get too excited that I may have propagated a Begonia Iron cross... I have no idea 🤷♀️ thanks Rachel! I have a cover up tattoo to do on a 64 year old who has 'My Rachel' tattooed on his forearm in huge letters!
Ok so- 1.) I think I actually prefer voice over vids! 2.) I’m an artist and I have arthritis, but I work a lot of events, cons and festivals as a vendor doing live art. I also rearrange my house constantly. If I could have everything on wheels, I would! (I nearly do, there are 10 furniture pieces on casters in my current POV) 3.) does this work the same for cane begonias? 4.) update: a few vids back you referenced a neglected scindapsus treubii moonlight and I said I had a couple in the back of my place too that I hadn’t even seen in months that I needed to check on, so I did. They’re fine. What?! Super plants. 5.) great pots! I put mine in piles by the trash then the tub and use old dish scrubbers/brushes for cleaning them (labeled as such with sharpie) every few pots I empty. Then I just stack them in a bucket and do a bleach solution to sanitize. I’ll do it in stages before I need to use any, bc by the time I actually get around to repotting you better believe I ain’t waitin fer dang nuthin. I’ll put em by the tub after I use a Kroger bag to wipe out the insides, clearing out any dirt stuck to em one day, then use the shower head to spray them out another day and scrub them the next day and so on. Just one stage at a time. If you’re doing it that way, the sanitizing is the easiest step!
