Much better band than what he's touring with in 2024. Larry Tagg is a beast on bass.
Quite by chance I discovered Todd in January 1977. I was a 16 year old school boy in England into the Beatles, soul and reggae, Glam rock and the punk scene just exploding at time. I was transfixed and bought all the albums available at the time in England. When we saw him in about 2005 in London I cried my eyes out. These two are among my very favourite Todd tunes. Thanks for posting. X
Had the same reaction at last year's Hammersmith show - my first and maybe only time seeing him. Class act.
I was at this show. Magic. Brings all the feels.
I was 15 in 1975 when I bought the album Todd and my lifelong love affair with Todd and Utopia never get's old. I am 63 and will see him again when he comes to town with Darryl Hall later this summer....Have seen many a great show over the years,,,,
Great period for Todd! As good as it gets.
トッド大好きです。嬉しい!
Two of my favorite Todd songs. Have seen him perform these many times. This was a great show!
RIP Jesse Gress
I was there. So miserably hot, but who took time to notice once the show started?! So much energy!
wasn't this one of the first few songs? Todd's already drenched! I listen to this album so much; certainly the best his voice has ever sounded, and the band is so uniform and strong!
@@peccamecha these were the 2nd and 3rd songs. The 1st was Love Science.
I wish I had known about Todd Rundgren back then. “2nd Wind” ended up becoming one of my favorites by him. “Initiation,” the album this came from, not so much apart from this song…
FCUKing wonderful!
Absolute excellence! ❤
Gretest live TR I have ever heard, man that is angelic!
He sounds fantastic!
Even with full energy he has his voice under contol👍
Brilliance from Todd and band!
Larry Tagg tore it up on bass on this tour. I saw it a couple of times, and my animus toward Bourgeois Tagg went away right quick.
Awesome performance ...they outside in a hot climate or the A/C out ?
Was this broadcast live as it happened on WXRT?
not sure.
