I'm so late to this party but these are absolutely stunning! And fun too. There's a similar watch called the midnight planétarium by Van Cleef and Arpels that sacrifices stone size in the planets for real time movement of the stones. For eg the stone representing Saturn will take 29yrs to do a full lap of the watch. There are some insanely talented people in the world

They show how cool of a guy he is, but this video really shows how great his pieces are. Keep up the great work.
Jacob and co takes watch making to a whole different universe. The creativity and exclusivity that goes into each watch is incredible. You would think by looking at some of these watches that it takes the jewelers 3 years to make one piece. I see a lot of videos on watch companies showing different watches. Maybe someone can do a video showing what it actually takes to make a watch of this caliber. I know it wouldn’t be easy and it would probably require many trips back and forth to the jeweler but it sure would be cool
Was thinking more about the recent years of the "Astronomia boom" and so many new complicated watches that followed. I am a fan of Jacob since I was in middle school so I get what u mean :D
They should make a coin slot type grand complications mechanism with different coins having different mechanisms. The coins can also be stacked on top of each other sometimes moving in unison creating animal shapes together. Singularly each coin represents simple mechanisms like drawing water lever mechanism etc.

I love the insanity of the twin turbos, but the minimalist in me just wants to see one with a very plain face that highlights the insanity of the tourbillions
The twin turbo watches are absolutely gorgeous but the seconds hand is so choppy due to the twin twin tourbillons. Not a big issue and not like I will ever own one, but I think they could at least get a smooth 4hz sweep out of that $500k movement.

the twin turbo furious is amazing! that said - i feel the seconds sweep is a bit stuttery given the price and the fact it has a high end movement
Mechanical watches stutter more than lower end watches operating at around 6 bps. Quartz watches operate much faster and smoother
