Just a recommendation- ig its high time that you hire someone who admire or has depth knowledge of hindi poetry, hindi books, hindi films. This interview seemed a little off but i am rooting for upcoming episodes. Keep doing what you are doing.
I agree.. They could have included Pathik in the conversation. He has great knowledge about Hindi poetry and novels. His command over the language is also phenomenal. Disha didn’t seem super comfortable. The conversation should have felt really smooth, but it somehow didn’t.
Finally ,someone said it. We all respect Disha ji and her intention was all good. But I could observe that there was a clear lack of research by the Chalchitra Team.
Wow, What a man. The ease he carries while articulating life lessons is just amazing. Thank you chalchitratalks And this girl asking most sensible questions from heart after every saying. Rare to see a media person like this
I spent two consecutive days with Piyush Mishra ji, spending a lot of time with him. This made me realize an important point about celebrities: meeting someone you admire can sometimes make you like them less. It’s better to admire their work from afar rather than meeting them in person.
The setup, ambience and intention of Chalchitra Team is great. We all like Disha and Piyush Ji also answered with sincerity. The interview lacked research by Chalchitra Team, no offence to Disha but the host should have read his books or thoroughly about his life to actually ask questions of importance. He has so many stories to tell, he is a legend in theatre space, the questions were not great at all. First time disappointed by a Chalchitra Talks interview. Also , its disrespectful to the guest as well, gifts do not matter if his work is not appreciated, its his humility that he graciously accepted them. Also, when he repeatedly mentioned his autobiography, I think it was a sign from him that the team should have atleast read that.
My problem with the interview is not whether she, in her own life, reads Hindi or not. I saw comments here of people disappointed that she didn't and I second with that. Reading Hindi, or not reading Hindi, or any other language can be and is a personal choice. But the platform and the opportunity is a huge, gigantic opportunity-to sit across a person, an artist who works with and around the same language. It's a dream for people to just get a story reply from artists, let alone, see and get the opportunity to talk to them. So it is positive if people are hurt or angry by seeing a non-Hindi reader interview him. This comes under journalistic ethic, and it might look like a fancy job to sit across amazing people and get the chance to ask questions, but it is work. The best of interviewers know their interviewees, and everything almost that could be possibly associated with them. You're hungry for the world, and to know what exactly it is about Kishore Kumar, who everybody loves, but what is it that Piyush Mishra and his childhood felt amazed by etc. This is not a hate comment at all. I just meant to say that it's a great opportunity to have someone like him spend time and answer questions. So, the interviewer should be someone who's interested and excited, and can't sit because so excited energy because of the interviewee they are about to meet and talk to ✨
I almost feel bad for Disha. This is how lead vocalists in the grunge era use to give interviews, almost as if they were pained to be there. But those guys were young, full of drugs and could barely keep their eyes open. This is kind of like that but old and senile.
Interviewer doesn't read hindi books and you are interviewing the legend who has his roots in hindi - urdu be it movies, writing, music ... Otherwise she is good but try to read art which are in mother tongue or art which is Indian ...
39:45 did he just insult someone for not reading Hindi books? If yes then that was rude and so inappropriate. Does he read books in other people’s mother tongue?
No he didn't. His art is almost exclusively in Hindi. All his works are in Hindi. Is it inappropriate to expect your interviewer to be well-versed in your domain if they are going to interview you? Plus it sounded more like daantna than rude. Pathik is probably better suited for this interview. It's his domain.
@@vidyanshutiwari8109 true, someone well versed with Hindi poetry would have been better suited for his interview. Ya, if it was daantna, then it should be fine I think:D
This seemed quite embarrassing, forced and artificial. Also, comment section is full of incels and simps, tells a lot about how uninteresting everything else is in this episode!
I am 16 year old, after knowing this man my perspective in life changed and improved. Love you Piyush Mishra sir ❤️🙏

That is because you went chasing after one quality or a talent and the minute you went close you saw the entire rainbow of qualities

Bro, she is so beautiful ❤️
Bro Piyush sir is so over powering her. She should interview someone a little softer, Piyush sir is a bit hard of personality. She is lovely tho.
Should've been someone older to interview him.
What?? She’s asking not so good questions
After a point Disha should just've asked him: What would you like to answer, sir?
Disha is such a sweetheart. Pretty good interview. :)
Disha is a rare beauty 😍😍
She's too aware of it, hence bogged down by it
