Speed of Light in transparent medium is 1.8×10⁸m/s
3×10⁸m/s÷1.8×10⁸m/s=1.66
So; the refractive index is 1.66

-->Speed of light in the transparent medium = 0.6C
•absolute refractive index = C/Vm
----> C/0.6C
----> 1/0.6
----> 1.67
Hence the absolute refractive index of the medium is 1.67.
