    My personal 5 steps:
    1. Know the goal.
    2. Make a schedule.
    3. Plan out what steps will be taken throughout each week.
    4. Schedule one day out of each week as a day to reflect on the past week and decide the steps for the next week.
    5. Keep self discipline in check.

Great way to summarize an outstanding book Ethan !! The clarity in explaining through X Mind shows your excellent level of understanding the author's real perspective. Truly wish this video becomes Viral someday!!

Cannot believe I have been procrastinating this book for over a year, with it sitting on my desk when this whole time, I could have just watched your video and gained some new insights. Thank you!

You’ve made my day. I’m glad I found you. I’m subbed. Now I have to find time to go through your back catalog. Thanks for your hard work.

Thank you for this, it's amazing. Been studying Mr. Fritz's work for 30 years and this is the clearest explanation yet I've found (he cartoon book "how to create what you want" is also excellent)

Amount of ads makes it almost un-watchable, but it is a great summary of the book. Thanks!

Great video! This is the quality content that makes TH-cam such a powerful platform! I do have a question though. In the part of "Structural Tension" you say one should not "worry about where you are right now". However, if I understood correctly it is about "the discrepancy between what you want and what you currently have...". Thus, assesing your current reality is a central aspect of this whole tension, right? This would also be more in line with the way Peter Senge described Creative Tension based on this work.

The path of least resistance is the physical or metaphorical pathway that provides the least resistance to forward motion by a given object or entity, among a set of alternative paths. The concept is often used to describe why an object or entity takes a given path.

Are you just Googling the book titles and copy and pasting? Wondering what the point of that is.

Good one Ethan. Is it just me who feels that there was a some overlap with Atomic Habits and 7 Habits (Covey)

Certainly! No new ideas under the sun for sure. But I really appreciate the inner before outer focus.

Well.. There is an important distinction.
"Structures creates behavior.", Without structural level changes, the energy required is higher, changes are temporary and not sustainable.
TPOLR is about changes at the structural levels, while most others discuss behavioral changes.
Habits are one form of structure.
