The name of the farm comes from the word “Ammachi", which means “mother” in Malayalam. The farm is named after her, as she is a mother to everyone - plants, animals, and people alike. Her commitment to sustainable farming has earned her many awards, including the prestigious Kerala's Best Farmer of the Year (Karshakasree) in 2022.
