tbh its hit like the back of the neck where they meet. like if you lieanj your neck forward it will feel like yopur pulling a strong sting of musle its htta part so hes applying pressure there and if you work alot this feels very good hence why he's volunteer is almost falling asleep so it has alot of pressure
Honestly, what a wholesome competition. You get to learn completely different methods from your own to potentially add to your work and improve for the sake of your customers, and you get a massage on top of it. Very nice initiative!
I did not know that you can massage a person with a yoga pose. You as a massage therapist are helping the person you are massaging relax and getting fit at the same time
I've legitimately considered going to school to be a massage therapist just so i can get massages. Also so i have a back up career option but massage first and foremost.
i learned massages, only to get massaged lol, i didn't go to school i just stayed at the beach and since i was good girls would come get a massage and the rule is they have to give me one, it also helps me learn as i can see them trying to reproduce my moves and asses if they are good. i actually got really good just by this and going to get massage from proffesionals from time to time
Just saw this comment and felt the need to reply! Hey Kelly, I'm a registered massage therapist and I think its super great you're thinking about going to massage school! I must warn you though it is a very intense program so brace yourself haha. You spend about 6-8hrs in school and then 4 hours doing practicum followed by hours and hours of studying. You not only learn about massage techniques and receive massages (as part of learning in class) but you must also memorize every bone/landmark, artery, nerve, muscle, joint in the body. You also learn what each muscle does and where it originates and inserts. Youre basically taking like 11 courses per semester hahaha! There's a loooot of studying and learning involved but definitely worth it! Good luck and I wish you all the best!
Yeah.. I wont give u a long novel about going to massage school and all you learn, but I did and trust me, it's not fun getting massaged by people who have no idea what they are doing. The massages are generally only good by the end of the program or by the teachers if you get to be a demonstration body. 🤣 I've been hurt a few time by newbies.

Yeah same I hat regularly massages and physiotherapy but since a have a higher risk of dying due to corona I hat to stop this. And I have so much more pain since then :( I hope it get a vaccine soon. (Not an English speaker)
I haven’t been to my chiropractor for a year and my neck might just start falling off my body at one point! But when it’s safe I kind of want to try a massage too to see if it helps my problems.

It should look like a dance… I think too many massage therapists lack fluidity, in their movements. As a massage therapist myself , I make sure every massage is both fluid and meaningful
I've no idea how one would even begin to go about judging the 'best' massage. Is it even possible with the sheer variety of styles and disaplines on show here? But then neither do I care either, there is just something so positive about all these people coming together to demonstrate the ways we can heal others and make them feel good. I think things like this are beyond scrutiny. Its simply wonderful, so just go with it. If there were more events like this going on, the world would be a better place for it.

The lady with her whole body weight on her knees on top of someone's butt/hip was crazy, and she was spinning! And whoever did the music for this was perfect, I wonder what that music type is called
In my area of NY, it costs $35/30 mins or $60/full hour - always go for the hour. Money well worth spent, especially if you are so relaxed you can't walk out of the shop.

This was one of the most interesting videos I have seen in a while, Who knew there were so many different forms of massage?! In my area of NY, it costs $35/30 mins or $60/full hour - always go for the hour. Money well worth spent, especially if you are so relaxed you can't walk out of the shop.
