- Today I take a look at the upcoming DC Icons Rebirth 6" Wonder Woman figure from DC Collectibles. This figure is part of a Justice League 7-pack set for release on 3/22. This figure is the tallest figure in the set, standing around 6.5" tall. The fact that Wonder Woman is taller than both the Superman and Batman figures in this set, does make her a touch out of scale with them, but the figure matches up perfectly with other 6" lines such as Marvel Legends and DC Multiverse. The sculpting on the figure is nice, and I feel DC Collectibles has done a good job of capturing the look of Wonder Woman from the Rebirth era. The lack of any accessories is a little disappointing, but if you own other Wonder Woman figures or plan on getting the upcoming single carded New 52 Icons version, you should be able to piecemeal a few things to make this one look more menacing in battle. The overall articulation is good on this figure and she does have double-jointed elbows which is nice.

This really makes me wish DC Collectibles was continuing their Film line. That Wonder Woman looked so good! They should at least release the Wonder Woman and regular suit Batman! Superman and Armored Batman are great figures, I'm so upset they put the line on hold.

Personally love her height I love when Wonder Woman is tall because she's an Amazon. So scaling I don't think it's a huge problem for me.
One *minor* gripe with the review: Wonder Woman *is* actually supposed to be huge. It varies from comic to comic, of course, as different artists bring their own unique styles to bear, but Diana is an Amazon, and the Amazons of legend were huge, well-built warrior women capable of going toe-to-toe with even the best male combatants.
TL;DR, Wonder Woman *should* be taller than Batman and Superman, she just usually isn't, so when someone finally gets it right (i.e. this figure), it looks jarring.

No, they are done with single packs.
David Rodriguez not heard any word on that, there is a single carded Wonder Woman coming but it's not the rebirth version and there is a single carded cyborg version coming. The other characters in the set already have single carded versions. I wouldn't be surprised if eventually they re release these figures some way but at this time this is it.

the height difference is much a let down. and i as so excited to get this pack.
Personally I really, really *love* that she's the tallest. In my head, she's like 6'6, 6'8 and in Justice League Unlimited she's taller than Batman and Superman. If they do the same thing in their 6.75 line, I'll be thrilled. She won't quite fit in with what I'm trying to do on the shelf, but she's very tempting.

I'm liking the look and articulation of these figures but no accessories is a big let down. At the very least they could've put a sculpted lasso attached to her waist and/or open hands so we could use accessories from other figures, but the closed fists are absurd.
Great review, so much so I'm interested in acquiring the figure. Can you please recommend a place online I can find one loose so I wouldn't have to buy all seven? I've already searched Ebay, anywhere else? Much appreciated!

I am actually happy they made her tall is more accurate for an amazon. She's only short in comics so that the leaders appear more powerful, common tactic. Male leaders are almost always the tallest. Tall women are intimidating. I'm excited to get her! She will fit into scale with my Valkyrie and Angela!
DC has never been consistent with the height of WW in the comics. She's suppose to be taller, but it always changes. Maybe the next figure will be shorter. I want both lol

hey @Jay C is wonder woman's hands removable? I was thinking of getting both DC icon wonder womans and then taking the hands off of this wonder woman from the 7 pack so she can hold the sword and shield from the other wonder woman.

No they weren't. They were always breaking and had little to no articulation.

it isn't... I have seen a bunch up close and the articulation and joints are awful...

Vance Cooley over the Mafex release, yes because the Mafex releases has tons of QC issues ranging from fabrication to paint apps... Now if the DC films version was available then no I wouldn't go for this figure...

The head is too small and her face is meh, but the body is nice as is her costume.
Jaime-Arturo Maybe once they do a separate pack they'll fix the face and give her the accessories like the other figures in this pack.
I think the head is actually in pretty good proportion to the body if they're portraying her as tall. The face fits in with the other Icons, but if you look next to the Marvel Legends being a little bigger in scale, her face looks small.
***** Not fully I mean they still will do single releases like next month they are supposed to release static which he was pushed back and their hasn't beem any word of him being canceled since he was apart if the wave with Fire storm, Joker, John steward. Plus they are doing the single release Wonderwoman and rebirth supergirl even Hush Nightwing

It bugs me that Wonder Woman is taller than Superman.!
I want to buy this set, but wonder woman and superman faces are not doing it for me(I like more the dc collectibles New 52 faces), the glam photos look better than the released figures, I Think Im Going to pass on this set.
I was debating on whether I should get this or not. Now I know I'm not getting it. The fact that she is taller than Superman bugs me. It should be scaled Superman Wonder Women and than Batman if they are not going to be the same height. I would be fine with that. Plus the fact that these don't come with any accessories is a major let down. I know you said we could probably swap out with the other Wonder Woman that has yet to be released but whose to say she will have the same size peg as this one or if it's even going to be the same scale.
cmbrock1 if Wonder Woman is the only figure in the set your interested in the I would prob suggest just waiting for the single carded version. As for the hands, I can't say 100% but the hands for the older gl and superman figures work on these newer ones so I would imagine the Wonder Woman will work as well.

Maybe it's the heels that make her taller. My girlfriend and I were the same height. When she wore heels though, she was about an inch to two inches taller.
The head articulation is little bit limited, she almost can't look up or down, but my biggest complain so far is the lack of accesories and the scale, how can she taller than other figures in this line?! That's a failure i think. But the rest of the figure such as paintjob, face sculpt and the other articulations is good.
This 7 pack was a big fahk you to faithful collectors of the Icons series. That wonder woman is a giant bird lady monster.. I don't know what's going on over at DC Collectables but they are not doing a good job steering this ship away from the iceberg..
Also, I picked up that new line (wonder woman, cyborg, static shock etc)
That wonder woman i was looking forward to.. total let down. Probably the worst figure released to date. It could have been one of the best, but it's a hot mess between the last minute swapped head sculpt to the entire figure just literally falling apart.. Something went terribly wrong over at DC Collectables. These WERE a quality line of figures.

Great figure, my only gripe is that she too tall. Like way too tall. Buuuut the articulation is really nice and I love the sculpt

Her legs are not proportioned properly at all. Her upper thighs are way to long.
Superman's face and hers look weird. It looks like the have the same parents and the are 1st cousins.
