शिक्षा मंत्रालय ने 22 जून को नीट-यूजी परीक्षा में कथित गड़बड़ी की जांच सीबीआई को सौंप दी और इस मामले में अब तक पांच राज्यों से 33 लोग गिरफ़्तार किए जा चुके हैं. केंद्र सरकार ने नीट की परीक्षा का आयोजन करवाने वाली नेशनल टेस्टिंग एजेंसी (एनटीए) के निदेशक सुबोध कुमार सिंह को महानिदेशक के पद से भी हटा दिया है.
