i recently went to a funeral and sat behind someone that was in a gang that caused division and great stress in my church. They sent letter to the body and tried to tear it apart. it was a horrible time. I had forgotten about him and when i saw him a great wave of anger came across me, i still don’t know what to do. Forgive? when there is no repentance? yes. but i am still angry. it was this weekend yet the event happen 5 years or so ago. i had forgotten about this man who was one of them. Life is hard! if only God would take this anger . thanks for the lesson
Yeah...it's because you haven't dealt with the past heart attitude YOU have towards this person. You have to ask God's forgiveness for your anger or hate toward him. This anger and hate is equivalent to murder. The person you're mad at may never seek forgiveness from you or anyone, but YOU are commanded to love...regardless. I hope this helps. At least you know why you're angry and can pray for your attitude and his SIN (if it is a sin. I don't know ALL of what happened). All you can control is you...
