Hi Sue, thank you for your post and it's made our day we helped you fix it and it's a great feeling you saved some money isn't it, well done and keep watching we have lots of exciting videos coming soon.
Thanks for this video. dryer was getting mildly warm but not drying. Just about to buy a new one when we saw this, checked the condenser and it was jammed with lint. cleaned it out and it's now working fine. Great - saved us £250!
Hi Graham, thanks for the comments. Cleaning the condenser is an important part of maintenance with tumble dryers and if not done regularly (once a month) could make the machine build up lint and increase the fire risk. Glad you sorted it but remember to keep this up as it also improves efficiency and reduces bills.
Can I just say a HUGE thank you for posting this video ❤ you've just saved me buying a new dryer when times are tight for a family of 4! Thank you thank you thank you 😘

Hi thank you for your video we have an Electra TDC7100W, I have replaced the thermostat and cleaned all filter, checked and the pump is working but after 10 minutes running machine stops and the the filter blocked and water tank full light come on, but neither are!! But after 10minutes the tumble dryer automatically resets itself and the process starts all over again - it will not do a full programme please help!!
great video, i have a beko DSC85W, every time i pressed the power button it tripped the fuse box. I tracked this down to a faulty sensor on the heater. I replaced the heater and it has stopped tripping the fuse. However now it doesnt heat up. The reset button on the heater is pressed in ok, and all was working previous to the triping problem. Any idea why it now isnt heating up?
I have a Bosch Maxx dryer WTL 6200, just had the pump cleaned today as it was blocked and the dryer was not working. I have used it twice today and the water is not going into the tray. Always has done so previously. Should it end up in the tray? Have had this dryer for several years no previous problems. As a dryer ages lint can build inside the machine and some may work its way through with the water and block the pump. Use a vacuum to clean around the condenser and housing then up to the filter removing any excess lint.

Hello I have a beko Drvs 62w which was not heating up, I've changed the heater element and also the thermostat behind the fascia but there's no difference!! Please advise thanks
Hi Keith, did you test the dryer circuit? we would start by making sure you are getting a reading through the element with a multimeter as it could be the board but check the circuit first.

Hi Ben, there are two elements and two thermostats (one self resets). If you do not measure both elements or have a problem with the thermostats the link to the part if you require it is: www.espares.co.uk/product/es1331815/heater-element---with-sensors?SearchTerm=drvs62w%20heater
eSpares Hi .. Your part arrived but made no difference, no heat at all :( ... The element has a single female socket with 5 pins in. Which the dyer plugs into via 1 plug of 3 pin / 1 plug of 2 pins). Ben Finley Hi Ben, There is another thermostat that is behind the front panel, I have just uploaded a video on it that you can see at: How to Replace the Front Thermostat on a Tumble Dryer Hope this resolves your problem.
eSpares Ok will check that now thanks ... Do you know if theres anyway to test it ... or temporarily bypass it? .. Before I buy another redundant part?
I have a tumble dryer Indesit idvl75brs.9(UK) that stopped working few days ago after flashing the start and the filter or the cooler (I can't recall at this moment). The fuse is ok, could be the main control module, how to test it and where can I find it? Thank you.
Hi fk3jioefij, you would need to determine what the error code is before deciding the course of action, you can not test the board but it might have signs of damage that indicate a problem. Your model has 2 boards but the module board in the bottom of the dryer has to be programmed after fitting.
The two components on the top of the heater are a thermostat and a cut out. Both should measure short circuit with a meter. If these are OK hold the reset button for 5 seconds. Also check if the water has not filled the reservoir at the bottom and is not being pumped up as this can stop the heater.
Hi Michael, did you watch our diagnosis video?: th-cam.com/video/trJXdqNBn7M/w-d-xo.html Watch this first and we will be pleased to help if you have further questions.
sources I have a problem with drier I EMIT indication that purge the filter while the filter is clean what to blame in the second filter that has less I find the WET is normal HELP ME thanks.
Hi Mariann, It would be unusual for a dryer to mark clothing. Take a torch to examine and a clean cloth and wipe carefully around the inside of the drum. Work in sections starting with the 'walls' then the back panel and finally the front of the drum stopping regularly to examine if any marks are on the cloth. The two possible areas that may cause the problem are the back wall vent that may have burnt clothing if stopped when hot. Or the front rim where the seal may be coming off. If no marks check your washing when loading as it may be more likely from the washing machine.
Candy GOC590C (Condenser) stopped sometime during a usual 75min timer cycle, no LED lights, nothing flashing etc. Smelt electrically hotter than usual. Filter clean, water tank practically empty. Checked 13A fuse in plug. Power to relay inside top RHS. but cannot identify if power is reaching control board. Turned off power, after 15mins turned on power and turned dial to stimulate LEDS - nothing. Is there an internal fuse or just the safety thermal sensor? Any reset functions, or secret button configurations I can try for rest - any recommendation appreciated. Living outside UK, so need to fix myself or order spares via UK. Thanks for any help.
Check the continuity from the plug to the control board as shown in another video: th-cam.com/video/pJkyY8qRRwc/w-d-xo.html If there is continuity on both live and neutral connections check the cut outs on the heater and then suspect the control board. See another video: th-cam.com/video/Ph1oCRrvXO4/w-d-xo.html
Hi Michael, unfortunately to replace the front fan it is necessary to remove the drum. Most of this process is shown in the following video: th-cam.com/video/d8o4PJ7dkVU/w-d-xo.html
I was wondering if you could help my dryer is not doing anything when I turn it on and it is not the fuse in the plug as I have checked it any ideas to what it could be
Hi Chris, there could be a number of reasons why your dryer does not work. For information to help identify the problem watch our diagnosis videos like this one: th-cam.com/video/Ph1oCRrvXO4/w-d-xo.html
Hi I have a white knight and its starting to tumble and dry no problem but It just stops and wont start up again, this is usually after 20mins, there is no build up of lint. Would this be a motor problem or a element/thermostats problem? Please help!
Hi Tasha, If this is a condenser dryer confirm the water is reaching the tank. If water is not it will usually build up in a reservoir until it trips a float switch to prevent flooding. How long before it works again?, if it is overheating this would normally restart after 3 to ten minutes. Always give the model number to help us give specific advice.
Hi, my new ( second hand) beko drcs68 is taking forever to dry clothes. I had it on the extra dry cycle last night with only a few bits in. This cycle is supposed to take around 150 minutes however it constantly stops and then after a few minutes starts itself off again. After 3hrs last night and another 90 mins today, the clothes still aren't dry. Any ideas what might be wrong?
This sounds an unusual one. We suspect the machine may be overheating then cutting off while it cools. First check if this machine is subject to a safety recall as this may be the problem by using this link: dryersafety.beko.co.uk/ Then if you are clear from the recall check the condenser and filter is clean and time it on low heat then high heat cycles to see if on low heat the machine runs longer.
Hi eSpares! I have a Miele Novotronic T442C it was taking 3h to heat clothes and it didn't dry them properly. After 1 or 2 cycles of testing, I fully cleaned it (I figured out there was a massive amount of fluff on the door). However, it has now stopped heating. I assume it has overheated so I opened it up in search for the reset button - which unfortunately isn't there. I have tried unplugging the thermostat and the fuse as a "manual reset", which still didn't work. Fuse looks alright. Is there any other way to reset the machine?
Hi Beatriz, we believe on this machine there isn't a thermostat reset button. Did you thoroughly clean the condenser as this also can get blocked. Also check the pump is running to clear the water as if this is blocked it may turn the heater off.
Thank you very much for your reply. I already cleaned the condenser and tested the pump, as you showed on the video ;) now trying to get a multimeter to test the element. Is there anything besides the element that could be faulty?
hi i have a condenser tuble dryer and wen i go to turn the power but on the dryer it trips all my power is ther any tips are advises u can give me i can give you the model number if it hellps and mabey you could hellp me finde the right part thanks ken
I have a Beko Drcs 68 condenser dryer which runs for a short while and then stops with the end of programme lights indicating that water tank and filter need to be cleaned, even though they are empty because the programme has not run for the required time. The condenser unit is also clean. What could the problem be?
Hi There - got a good one for you! I have a Hoover tumble dryer VHV781C and there was no heat from the heater element. I tested the element and the two stats and got continuity but I could not find any other fault so I sent off for another completely new element and thermostats. They duly arrived and I fitted the new part and still doesn't work. There doesn't seem to be any other thermostat to check and I can detect voltage across the whole heater element and the stats as well. What on earth could it be?
Hi David, there is a NTC sensor usually mounted just above the door at the front of the machine: www.espares.co.uk/product/es668984 This can be accessed as you open the door and may be the problem. If this is replaced and the problem persists it may be the control board.
eSpares Cheers for that - this weekend I was determined to fix it. It wasn't pretty! Couldn't find anything near the door so decided to take the front panel off. This involved going to the local hardware store to by a set of torx wrenches so I could remove the door first. After lots of swearing I got the front panel off and discovered two thermisters (one detecting next to the filter and one near the discharge outlet (hot air exit). After testing them I discovered no continuity through the one next to the filter so I decided to short it out and see if my theory was correct. Putting it back together (lots more swearing) was interesting but I finally got there. Feverishly I turned it on and discovered............still no heat but everything else running smoothly. I'm off to the hardware store now to buy the biggest axe I can find and finish the job off good and proper.
David Wade Shorting out does not always allow you to rule out the part as the board will expect resistance in a certain range. I know on Hoover dryers in particular some models will not start if in a very cold garage as the thermistor can identify if condensation water could have frozen and if the machine were to start it could leak. My Money is on replacing the sensor would resolve your problem and may be cheaper than a good axe. ;-)
David Wade Just changed the NTC sensor and.......take a wild guess............yup, still no heat. Other than buying a complete new control unit which would mean I would have shelled out close on 80 quid I'm a bit flummoxed. Such a pity as it seems such a simple machine and I hate admitting defeat. Any advice?
Hi, my tumble dryer is a indesit condensed dryer. It heats up and is very hot but even if I put it on for the full time it only dries my clothes partially. Any ideas? Thanks
Hi Amy, sounds like you have an air flow problem. Follow this other video to ensure the air ways are not obstructed and it should be OK once cleaned: th-cam.com/video/pxZIetevnSo/w-d-xo.html
HI, I have a zanussi ZDC741000 condenser dryer - after starting it quickly indicates 'end of programme' - i am getting good heat, i have taken off the sides and back, stripped it down and cleaned every part (codensor, filters, motor, resevouir and i have cleaned the inside of the drum with a vinegar based product. Suspect a sensor issue, any advice and what would be the relevant part - Tony
+Tony Price Hi Tony, we are sorry but do not recognise your model number. Another cause of this type of problem can be if the water collected is not getting into the tank. The water will usually drain from the condenser into a reservoir and then either drain into a container or be lifted by a pump. Check the reservoir is not full.
+eSpares Hi, I am sorry the model is the ZDC47100W - I have completely stripped down the whole machine as there was a lot of damp lint throughout and reassembled it, I found the bottom pipe from the front fan was clogged but the problem persists - I suspect the sensor that drops into the top of the front fan (next to the the interference capacitor) has developed a fault) but I couldn't find the part on your website
+eSpares Part 3792171203?? Temperature Probe - do you have any - from what I can establish I think this is the issue (see below) - would you agree and do you have any
I have a beko drct 70w 7kg and water is leaking from the bottom of it and there is no water in the bottle what could be the issue or where should I be looking thanks
+george stronach The manual shows two types of water bottle. If yours is at the top make sure the water is being pumped up from the reservoir behind the condenser. If the tank is at the bottom check the seals on the connectors. See the following parts: www.espares.co.uk/product/es1568139 and www.espares.co.uk/product/es1554737
Hi sue, F04 is listed as a door temperature sensor has exceeded 60 degrees so start by checking for a blockage, test the NTC sensor and make sure the wiring is not damaged and is connected properly.
ive got a candy smart touch tumble drier only 2 weeks old and it turns off after 30 seconds no matter which programme i put it on.I know i should ring the shop up i got it from but because its so new i thought maybe its something really simple..any ideas what i can do? thank you..
Hi Denise, the first thing is to ring the shop and get the service out as it is under guarantee, we have not had any issues with this dryer but it is new so can't advise.
hi I have a beko drcs 68w tumble dtyer that is not heating I have replaced the element and when first turned on the element does heat up till the first cycle end but when it then goes into reverse action the element does not heat at all after that even when it changes cycle again any ideas what it may be
+paul morrissey Your dryer has a sensor below the door opening; www.espares.co.uk/product/es1567608/ This is rubbed by the clothes and detects any moisture. If the sensor has been coated by fabric softener from clothes or a fault with the wires or pcb or no load it may think the washing does not need to dry. Clean the sensor and retry with a couple of damp items like tea towels.
Beko dryers reset by holding the reset button for more than 3? seconds. Try this then check the thermostat has not tripped as in the following video: th-cam.com/video/i-ilh14sI9g/w-d-xo.htmlm12s
Sorry Michelle, the thermostats on your dryer are not designed to be reset so if it has overheated you will need to replace the heater assembly: www.espares.co.uk/product/es1073664/tumble-dryer-2300-watt-heater-element or the thermostats: www.espares.co.uk/product/es658577/tumble-dryer-thermostat-kit
+Michelle Pilling If it is a condenser dryer the problem is likely to be a little water getting onto the element. Check the condenser is clean and the machine is level and if you are passing the water direct to a drain through a small pipe check it is not blocked. If this does not cure the problem contact your warranty provide for a repair as working further may invalidate your gaurentee.
If the light is lit during the drying it may be indicating the heating is 'on' after the cycle it may indicate the dryer does not think it has finished drying. Try on a timed cycle if this is OK clean the chrome sensor strips under the door on the front of the drum. If that does not cure the problem suspect the control panel.
Beko dryers reset by holding the reset button for more than 3? seconds. Try this then check the thermostat has not tripped as in the following video: th-cam.com/video/i-ilh14sI9g/w-d-xo.htmlm12s

Hi, I have a indesit idc 8t3 b condenser drier and for some reason it's taking way over the time it used to take to dry clothes and not producing any lint and hardly any water. I've have cleaned out all filters and always have. Condenser has been cleaned out. It's heating up fine and element working. Pump is working correctly to. What on earth can it be?? Someone please help!!
Hi Flumpsarus, check the pump chamber for any blockages that may be stopping it from working correctly, also have a look for anything blocking the air flow through the dryer.
E spares what happens when you change heater with stats, then the front ntc sensor and the heat still doesn't work!!!! its a condensing dryer a beko drcs 68w, wht else can it be???
+eSpares Which button is the reset button????Theres only 3 buttons and a programme dial on this beko. One says buzzer cancel/ one says on/off and one says start, pause, cancel!!! where is the reset button on this machine? also if you say control board is a possible can the output from the control board not be checked for 240 volt when dryer is on??
+tweetypie25 The cancel button resets the machine. The board output cannot be tested without working on a live machine something we would never advise to do because of safety. You could also check if there is a float switch on the water reservoir under the drum stopping the machine heating.
Hi Chris, most likely to be a heater problem. If it is a condenser dryer check for signs of water in the fan chamber below the heater. Even a small spoon full can blow up and cause the element to trip out an earth leakage trip on your fuse board. This can occur with overfilling or if the pump fails, run on a cool down or cold cycle to dry it out.
eSpares Yeah it is a condenser dryer, Hotpoint TMC570. I took the back off to find a small amount of water in the bottom of the cover, plus there was lots of drops of water covering the grated opening to the drum, also the cardboard strips covering the element felt a little damp. I did notice one of the elements was broken, I'm not sure if this was broken before or got damaged when removing the back cover. I've ordered a new element to replace the broken one. When I've replaced the element, I will run a cold cycle and see what happens, is there an easy way I can test the pump to make sure that that works properly?
Hi I HAVE A HOTPOINT TUMBLER DRYER TL-11P THAT STOP GETTING HOT SO I REPLACED THE HEATING ELEMENT AND THE TWO BACK THERMOSTATS I ALSO CHECKED THE FRONT THERMOSTAT WITH A CONTINUITY SCREWDRIVER ( ITS ALL I HAVE TO TEST ) AND IT SEEMS FINE BUT ITS STILL NOT HOT ENOUGH LIKE IS USE TO BE I HAVE RUN OUT OF IDEAS ANYONE HELP
Hi Ksonyman68, Being a vented dryer there is little left to check. The timer will turn the heater off when set to below ten minutes to ensure the machine does not stop when hot so this may be the next part to suspect. However do not trust an indicating screwdriver on that front thermostat as this will indicate even if there is a high resistance suggesting a current path but would not allow current to heat. It may be worth buying a cheap meter to confirm continuity before replacing like: www.espares.co.uk/product/es1583041
Hi Murray, I have found this on resetting a Hotpoint dryer, turn the dial to off then turn to the 6 o'clock position, Press the start button 3 times. Turn the dial 1 click clockwise. Press start 3 times again. Then turn the dial to off. Now turn it back on and the error code should be cleared.
Hi David, you do not need to reset the machine, if it has an error code it would be stored in the electronics which can be cleared in diagnostic mode when the fault has been repaired then turn it off and back on again and ready to go.
great video, i have a beko DSC85W, every time i pressed the power button it tripped the fuse box. I tracked this down to a faulty sensor on the heater. I replaced the heater and it has stopped tripping the fuse. However now it doesnt heat up. The reset button on the heater is pressed in ok, and all was working previous to the triping problem. Any idea why it now isnt heating up?
Hi AC Vids, check the rest of the heater circuit as it may have damaged other components when it tripped the fuse, also check for any damage on the PCB as if that has gone it may stop the machine from heating.
Josh you saved me a lot of money. Old Bauknecht, checked heater resistance, replaced it, and saved the dryer with 36€

Siemens iQ500 Condenser Dryer not warming up?
What's the problem do you think?
Thanks for your helpful videos
It could possibly be the heater element and only way to confirm would be to use a megger and checking for any lower readings than expected.

Check the continuity from the plug to the control board as shown in another video: th-cam.com/video/pJkyY8qRRwc/w-d-xo.html
If there is continuity on both live and neutral connections check the cut outs on the heater and then suspect the control board. See another video:

how do you change the cooling fan on a Beko drcs68w dryer!? does the side panel actually come off or do you need to remove the back and the drum!?
Hi Michael, unfortunately to replace the front fan it is necessary to remove the drum. Most of this process is shown in the following video:
th-cam.com/video/d8o4PJ7dkVU/w-d-xo.html
damn it lol!! thank you anyway and for the very swift response!!
:-)
model is whirlpool azb 9772
I was wondering if you could help my dryer is not doing anything when I turn it on and it is not the fuse in the plug as I have checked it any ideas to what it could be
Hi Chris, there could be a number of reasons why your dryer does not work. For information to help identify the problem watch our diagnosis videos like this one:
th-cam.com/video/Ph1oCRrvXO4/w-d-xo.html
First check if this machine is subject to a safety recall as this may be the problem by using this link:
dryersafety.beko.co.uk/
Then if you are clear from the recall check the condenser and filter is clean and time it on low heat then high heat cycles to see if on low heat the machine runs longer.
It is more likely that the thermostats on the element have failed but a meter will show this.
hi i have a condenser tuble dryer and wen i go to turn the power but on the dryer it trips all my power is ther any tips are advises u can give me i can give you the model number if it hellps and mabey you could hellp me finde the right part thanks ken
Hi Kenneth, the most likeliest cause of the tripping would be the heating element so start there.
@@eSpares hi do you have a video showing that best wishes
Hi Kenneth. Please view the links below for more information:

I have a Beko Drcs 68 condenser dryer which runs for a short while and then stops with the end of programme lights indicating that water tank and filter need to be cleaned, even though they are empty because the programme has not run for the required time. The condenser unit is also clean. What could the problem be?
Check the water is getting into the tank as if the reservoir is full it may be the problem.
Hi David, there is a NTC sensor usually mounted just above the door at the front of the machine: www.espares.co.uk/product/es668984
This can be accessed as you open the door and may be the problem. If this is replaced and the problem persists it may be the control board.
eSpares
Cheers for that - this weekend I was determined to fix it.
My Money is on replacing the sensor would resolve your problem and may be cheaper than a good axe. ;-)
OK - thanks for that - I will hold off on the axe and I have ordered the sensor at 10 quid. Will let you know how I get on. Thanks again
David Wade
Just changed the NTC sensor and.......take a wild guess............yup, still no heat.

Follow this other video to ensure the air ways are not obstructed and it should be OK once cleaned:

Temperature Probe - do yo have any
+eSpares Part 3792171203?? Temperature Probe - do you have any - from what I can establish I think this is the issue (see below) - would you agree and do you have any
+Tony Price Following the advice on the web - entered diagnostic mode and confirm error code E71
I have a beko condenser tumble dryer. Its showing "f04" fault. Whst does this mean pls
Hi sue, F04 is listed as a door temperature sensor has exceeded 60 degrees so start by checking for a blockage, test the NTC sensor and make sure the wiring is not damaged and is connected properly.
Thank you i fix it!
Great, what was your problem?.
ive got a candy smart touch tumble drier only 2 weeks old and it turns off after 30 seconds no matter which programme i put it on.I know i should ring the shop up i got it from but because its so new i thought maybe its something really simple..any ideas what i can do? thank you..
Hi Denise, the first thing is to ring the shop and get the service out as it is under guarantee, we have not had any issues with this dryer but it is new so can't advise.
hi I have a beko drcs 68w tumble dtyer that is not heating I have replaced the element and when first turned on the element does heat up till the first cycle end but when it then goes into reverse action the element does not heat at all after that even when it changes cycle again any ideas what it may be
+paul morrissey Your dryer has a sensor below the door opening; www.espares.co.uk/product/es1567608/
This is rubbed by the clothes and detects any moisture. If the sensor has been coated by fabric softener from clothes or a fault with the wires or pcb or no load it may think the washing does not need to dry. Clean the sensor and retry with a couple of damp items like tea towels.
+paul morrissey Hi Thanks for the information seems to be working thanks for your help
+paul morrissey :-)
i have exactly the same problem as inder g . i have checked the float switch and the water pump is working. any ideas?
Beko dryers reset by holding the reset button for more than 3? seconds. Try this then check the thermostat has not tripped as in the following video:
th-cam.com/video/i-ilh14sI9g/w-d-xo.htmlm12s
thanks tried the reset button but still no heat! could it be anything on front panel?
Hi, do you have any idea where the reset button is on a indesit idc85 condenser tumble dryer please
Sorry Michelle, the thermostats on your dryer are not designed to be reset so if it has overheated you will need to replace the heater assembly: www.espares.co.uk/product/es1073664/tumble-dryer-2300-watt-heater-element or the thermostats: www.espares.co.uk/product/es658577/tumble-dryer-thermostat-kit
thank you
Always remember to allow the cycle to finish or set to the cool down position as stopping when hot will cause this problem.
my hoover dryer is causing the electricity to trip.
it's heating up but tripping the mains. still is in warranty.
+Michelle Pilling If it is a condenser dryer the problem is likely to be a little water getting onto the element. Check the condenser is clean and the machine is level and if you are passing the water direct to a drain through a small pipe check it is not blocked. If this does not cure the problem contact your warranty provide for a repair as working further may invalidate your gaurentee.
hi can you help me been having problems done test red light on drying on after test.. what does that mean??? Thanks
Hi Andrew, we need more information to try and help. What is your model and does the dryer heat?.
Beko sensor dryer modal DRV62 W
Ok Andrew, you did not say if it was heating or drying?. There are a number of lights on the panel which one is it?.
yes heating working just not stoping red light next to the word Drying on after test
If the light is lit during the drying it may be indicating the heating is 'on' after the cycle it may indicate the dryer does not think it has finished drying. Try on a timed cycle if this is OK clean the chrome sensor strips under the door on the front of the drum. If that does not cure the problem suspect the control panel.
bro i chang the heater eliment in beko dsc85w but dryer is stil not getting hot, do i need reset 1st ?

hi, i have a defy outomaid ( not condensor ) after 20 minutes it trips the power,
Suspect the heater failing. Running on a low temperature may indicate if this is correct.
+tweetypie25 Hold the reset for 5 seconds then retry. If that does not cure the problem it may be the control board.
I've pressed the cancel button, and nothing happens, I have not checked the float switch nor the reservoir yet, this I,ll try next.
My BEKO DCSC821/W shows DRYING when i switch it on, then pops my main fuse, any ideas?
Hi Steve, the most likely reason would be the element so start there.
My tumble dryer won't start, when you press the start button it turns on but trips the electrics in seconds, any ideas what's causing it to do this?
When I've replaced the element, I will run a cold cycle and see what happens, is there an easy way I can test the pump to make sure that that works properly?
eSpares Or could I even run the dryer without heating element and thermostat panel installed? to check it all works and to help dry it out?
Hi
I HAVE A HOTPOINT TUMBLER DRYER TL-11P THAT STOP GETTING HOT SO I REPLACED THE HEATING ELEMENT AND THE TWO BACK THERMOSTATS I ALSO CHECKED THE FRONT THERMOSTAT WITH A CONTINUITY SCREWDRIVER ( ITS ALL I HAVE TO TEST ) AND IT SEEMS FINE BUT ITS STILL NOT HOT ENOUGH LIKE IS USE TO BE
I HAVE RUN OUT OF IDEAS ANYONE HELP
Hi Ksonyman68, Being a vented dryer there is little left to check.
The timer will turn the heater off when set to below ten minutes to ensure the machine does not stop when hot so this may be the next part to suspect.
However do not trust an indicating screwdriver on that front thermostat as this will indicate even if there is a high resistance suggesting a current path but would not allow current to heat.
It may be worth buying a cheap meter to confirm continuity before replacing like:
www.espares.co.uk/product/es1583041
I have (F04) on my hotpoint tumblr dryer. How do I reset my dryer?
Anyone help. Cheers.
How do I reset a dryer Lindo 300?
Hi David, you do not need to reset the machine, if it has an error code it would be stored in the electronics which can be cleared in diagnostic mode when the fault has been repaired then turn it off and back on again and ready to go.

great video, i have a beko DSC85W, every time i pressed the power button
it tripped the fuse box. I tracked this down to a faulty sensor on the
heater. I replaced the heater and it has stopped tripping the fuse.
However now it doesnt heat up. The reset button on the heater is
pressed in ok, and all was working previous to the triping problem. Any
idea why it now isnt heating up?
Hi AC Vids, check the rest of the heater circuit as it may have damaged other components when it tripped the fuse, also check for any damage on the PCB as if that has gone it may stop the machine from heating.
eSpares thanks will do. Nightmare on the dsc85 to check the pcb. Sides and everything has to come off.
